v3.7.4
SETLIST MANAGER
- Fixed (hopefully) reported problem with displaying correct difficulty tier numbers and names in the manager and while exporting - if you're still having issues, re-create your Setlist from scratch (re-import the cache file) and the issue should go away - if not, let me know
I re-imported my (xbox 360) RB3 song cache. The middle section shows No Part for impossible parts. Now there is a difference between tiers in the middle section and the bottom section. The middle section is one tier HIGHER than the bottom section for each instrument, and impossible is no part. The bottom section tiers correctly match the visualiser, this was for customs.
This behaviour of tiers one higher/lower changes depending on the source of the song. when the source is RB2/RB3/DLC only, the middle section is correct, but the bottom section is one tier lower. Thus warmup becomes no part on the bottom. I didn’t check all the source options yet.
There is no error message when selecting a song.
When exporting to excel the tier names or numbers option gives what is in the bottom section, and their is no number 8. But the tiers obviously are incorrect given the issues above.
if you need anything more let me know.
July 8, 2015 at 1:25 pm #449822It looks like the problem goes beyond what I thought. I’ll take care of it next update. I never realized because I only use exports that don’t show difficulty tiers
July 9, 2015 at 7:49 am #449870Is there any way that the visualizer can load a saved profile as a default? I always have to load the profile I customized with the colors I chose for artist, album, etc. every time I have a song done.
July 9, 2015 at 2:05 pm #449883Sure. Next update.

v3.7.5
SETLIST MANAGER
- Added option to choose whether to truncate long text when exporting to Excel (This Is a Long Name vs. This is a L...)
- Further fixes to the difficulty tiers displaying incorrectly in different parts of Setlist Manager and when exporting the setlist
- Fixed bug where some songs displayed different durations in the song list panel and the detailed info panel
- Fixed bug where exporting using PDF style 'espher' would not display the first two lines of the setlist
- Other minor improvements and changes
UPGRADE BUNDLER
- Added option to disable the song ID prompt when bundling
- Added option to default to using the upgrade ID over the original song ID when bundling
VISUALIZER
- Added option to auto-load last used Visualizer Profile when Visualizer is run
PS3 CONVERTER
- Improvements to the MIDI to EDAT encryption process
GENERAL
- Added feature to most parts of the Tools to 'pin' the active form to be always on top - just click on the pin icon and the form will always be on top no matter what you're doing, click it again to return it to normal
July 12, 2015 at 3:58 am #450064Cool to see that there is an updater that checks online for newer versions of the program.
July 12, 2015 at 5:34 am #450068Any chance of adding a way to hide buttons so anyone can make it only show things that they use or may want to use?
If so, is it also possible to make it like the image below, where it would automatically reposition the other buttons so there aren’t gaps where the hidden buttons are?
July 12, 2015 at 7:08 am #450070Yeah, it should be trivial to add…although I couldn’t possibly imagine why you don’t want ALLL my TOOLZZZ >” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
Also, still no idea on why Norton gets all pissy. I was convinced it was the PS3 MIDI to EDAT encryption code, so I spent a long time today separating that code into its own executable … Norton just flagged the new C3 CON Tools again – and this time it doesn’t have any of the PS3 stuff in it. Weird. If anyone has a better idea as to what could be scaring Norton, would love to hear it.
July 15, 2015 at 2:43 am #450337Well, you sure got me doing lots and lots of changes to the UI now.
Plus a lot of other stuff
July 15, 2015 at 3:24 am #450339Damn. This is looking really cool.
July 15, 2015 at 4:43 am #450345Thanks for the updates! I have a few suggestions for RB2USB to help improve that part of the program.
– Add an additional progress meter that is solid or edit the existing one to show the progress of each file being uploaded (for example the program Horizon does this).
– In the window that shows the content of whats in the USB drive, make it so as each file uploads, it is displayed rather then being displayed at the end.
– Can the “(file name) added” be more reliable?
If these are possible too add without being time consuming I think it would make it better. When I was adding packs (4 GB each) for a total of 12 GB, all I could rely on was the progress meter for the entire transfer. After almost an hour I became worried that the program had froze even though the meter was still moving. The display in the right corner that says “file name added” was displaying the same file name for atleast 30 mins, so I really wasn’t sure if it was uploading the other files. I know transferring content that size will take some time but I wasnt able to tell exactly what was going on. I ended up force quitting and using Horizon (which I hate) just so I could tell if each file was successful for the entire upload.

July 15, 2015 at 2:28 pm #450376That’s not a new feature.
As I said, changes are being made to the UI, no new features.

Oh, yah I found where it is accessed now.
Giving that feature its own button definitely makes it easier for people (like me ) to know it’s there
