I’ve always hated Party Buffalo, so I’m very excited to see that this step of the whole customs process has been brought into the TrojanNemo suite of fantastic tools. Thanks bud! Keep up the awesome work.

      “Wife Proof”? <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Now guessing it’s a pun. Quoting myself here, since now I’ve found reference to something called “wipeproof”.

Something about preserving scores between cache rebuilds?

Dude, I have no idea what you’re going on about :v:

That’s on Magma: C3 Roks Edition. If you use the unique numeric ID function the songs function like official DLC, where you don’t lose your scores when you delete the song cache.

          Steps:

          Run: C3 CON Tools

          Click: Setlist Manager

          Menu: Import RB3 song cache…

          Menu: Export Setlist…

          Microsoft Excel (tab)

          (radio) Everything

Spreadsheet has second to last column (AH) titled as “Wife Proof”. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

Sweet! Is it more than just a matter of making the Song ID numeric? I notice in my cache output that there is a run of official C3 songs not listed as wipeproof, all with the ID of 107464****

Would be nice to determine a “safe” numeric range to use to re-ID old customs that still wipe, without trampling on an existing author ID.

It’s all explained in the Magma thread and/or Change Log.

Thanks for pointing out the typo.

Oh wow, never even saw the batch submenu side-arrow on the Options menu with the dark skin. Nice!

Thanks for everything you do! :excited: (Or… did?)

That’s why I prefer the colorful skin, it’s the only one I use.

I’m still here, just don’t want to work on Magma anymore. cPlayer and C3 CON Tools will still get another update or two.

I mean, anyone reading this post, pay attention!

                  I need your help!

Either send me or tell me the name of existing custom songs that use multitracks (partial or full) and have 5, 6, 7, or 8 total channels in the audio. Don’t need songs with less than 5 channels, don’t need songs with more than 8 channels. You can find out how many channels the song has by throwing it at Song Analyzer (and make sure analyze mogg file is enabled) or by throwing it at Audio Analyzer or by opening it in Audacity and counting the channels by hand.

                  Thanks!

Can’t you search by whether a song is multitracked in the C3 database? Or are you looking for customs outside of C3 that are multitracked?

I know you said nothing less than 5, but if you get desperate, I have a couple of songs with 4 audio tracks each.

It’s not about desperate, it’s that less than 5 channels doesn’t need the changes I’m making. Most C3 songs are going to be 10-16 channels by nature, so getting songs from the C3 database doesn’t help me either.

But whatever, I already have some files I’ve found myself. I’ll test with those, and if I can’t fix them all because people don’t contribute, then I won’t feel bad when it doesn’t work for those people later down the line :haw:

I was mostly confused as to why. I thought I might have had one, but then when you brought that up, I realized the one I’m thinking of has around 12,maybe 14. I would help but I don’t have any for you. Sorry.

Stupid and possibly moot question: When you ask for a number of channels, does a stereo stem count as two channels or one?

It’s a complicated issue that I’m only learning about now so I should be able to fix some of the issues that started happening when I switched from using SoX to using BASS for the audio visualization and separation.

SoX didn’t rearrange audio channels, so it was never a problem while using SoX. But BASS rearranges audio channels based on the Vorbis spec when the audio file is an OGG file with 1-8 channels, and MagmaCompiler doesn’t create them according to Vorbis spec… 1-4 channels even after rearranging it ends up the same as the original, so no need to mess with those songs. 9 channels or more is beyond the Vorbis spec and BASS doesn’t rearrange them at all. But for 5, 6, 7, or 8 channel OGG files, BASS is rearranging the channels and that’s why Phase Shift Converter was separating them wrong, Audio Analyzer was drawing them wrong, and Visualizer was (probably) playing them incorrectly as well.

Stereo is two channels. The easiest way is to throw the mogg or CON at Song Analyzer and having the Analyze mogg file option enabled. Songs need to be multitracks though because I need to see or hear the difference as I adjust the channels. A single track mp3 style custom with 6 channels doesn’t help me because silence is silence no matter what channel is in, so I can’t confirm that I have the channels arranged correctly.

Ah, well, I have two four-stem songs where each stem is stereo, so, eight channels each. Have a look at my customs thread. Both “Falling in the Garden” and “Celestial Soda Pop” are four stems or eight channels each. “Celestial Soda Pop” may be more to your liking, since the background stem for “Falling in the Garden” is mostly silent. “Celestial Soda Pop” is good and full in the middle and toward the end of the song.
