I like the included TU4 feature. Will it also manage other non-song files like XBL profiles, caches, RB profiles, audio/video settings? I like duplicating those for swapping sticks.

I’d like to see an option to display SongID in the file list, to make it easy to look for duplicates, etc.

        Sure. Will add that.

Maybe include TU1 for when people want to play those hour long customs that crash when making the stats screen under TU4 (that’s how I’ve understood it anyway)

There’s not enough demand for that to be included, and I won’t bloat the package with yet another file. You can, however, use the tool to add TUx to the game by just drag/dropping whatever TU you want to it and it’ll place it in the right location for you.

Yes as to all RB-specific files, don’t know if I can do anything about the XBL profile, i’ll see.

I’m wondering what the “add magma file” does, and also, what about a display option that shows the song name, artist etc for con/live files? And if this happens, a way for it to view all the songs in a pack, kinda like the file indexer but it only shows songs on the flash drive?

That only shows up when you’re sending a newly created custom from Magma: C3. That’ll be explained more when the update to Magma comes out, but it’s just that. A way for Magma: C3 to interface with it.

and also, what about a display option that shows the song name, artist etc for con/live files?

That’s the whole point of right-click Send to -> Visualizer.

And if this happens, a way for it to view all the songs in a pack, kinda like the file indexer but it only shows songs on the flash drive?

That was already in but I had chosen to take it out. I guess I can put it back. It was an option to send it to Quick Pack Editor, which shows you all the songs in a pack and lets you edit the pack.

I mean like separate columns that display those things, so if you want to find the file but don’t remember the filename of it, you can find it by song name, etc. I guess this is what the package name is for (among other things) but I feel this would work better since you would be able to sort by artist

I’ll see what I can do about that. Something like the name of the song and the artist should be either in the package title or the file name, but I guess I see your point. Answer is maybe.

But as to packs, there is no way i’m displaying that information inline with the other info. Send to Quick Pack Editor is the best I will do.

I’ve noticed more than one author using 0000 for their ID. :what:

It will also help weed out alphas.

That is a big feature. I have no idea how many songs on my customs drive have the same ID thus are blocked and not showing up in game. Having a tool that can tell you there is a conflict in song ID would be amazing.

So all of these are working except for the Xbox Live Profile, as that is another can of worms, since it can’t be copied, only moved, which means if my tool damages it, it damages the only copy. I’d rather not deal with that risk. Besides, it’s not RB3 related But all the other RB files are now in.

I’m done on my end, all requested and my own planned features are in. Unless I get any more requests, tomorrow is testing and then release

I only just got around to trying it, but the Phase Shift batch rename only goes so far in terms of how many songs it does. I have nearly 7k songs, but it only renames around 4k, any way this could be fixed before the “final” release?

*Edit* Nevermind, it finally got all of them, but it took a few times running it before it did.

Same thing happened with me but Trojan didn’t address that issue when I mentioned it. Though he did fix the special characters issue very quickly which is appreciated

It’s not an issue for me anymore since everything has been renamed already after running it a second time but should still be fixed for anyone else who plans to use it in the future.

There is nothing inherent in the code that should stop or break compatibility after x amount of songs, certainly not besides the int16 limit, so unless you’re at 32,767+ entries it should work now. But I do not have 7000 songs to test that with either so unless you tell me what the problem is, I won’t be able to replicate it on my end.

                      v3.7.2
                      RBtoUSB (NEW!)
                      - All-in-one file transfer/handling tool tailored specifically for use with Rock Band 3 files and USB or portable hard drives formatted with the new Xbox 360 upgrade that breaks compatibility with prior tools (Party Buffalo, Modio, Horizon, etc)
                      - Allows you to simply drag/drop CON, LIVE, Title Update, game save or configuration files to the program and it sorts where the files need to go - users accidentally adding compressed archives (RAR/ZIP files) don't need to worry - RBtoUSB will extract the archive for you and add the files inside
                      - Allows you to view all important file information as well as song metadata right from the program without needing to first extract the files
                      - Interfaces with most of C3 CON Tools' other feature sets so you can send the file to Visualizer, Song Analyzer, CON Explorer, etc without needing to extract first for real time access to the files
                      - Title Update 4, required for the best experience with customs, is included and can be copied to your drive with one click
                      - See the included Help document for more features and instructions on how to use RBtoUSB

                      PS3 CONVERTER
                      - Added step during conversion process to correct some moggs that cause looping at the end of the song - click on Encryption Options -> Fix looping when converting and try converting the problem songs
                      - Added tool to correct some moggs that cause looping at the end of the song - click on Encryption Options -> Fix PS3 mogg that causes looping and feed it a mogg that has already been converted to PS3 use but causes looping in game

Let me know if any bugs got through, I don’t particularly enjoy testing for hours and hours :v:

Not a bug report (because I’ve not found any ), but another request. Prolly too late, but…

I recently acquired a wireless USB drive. Works great as a customs drive (no more sneakernet, yeah) but I can’t connect to it with RBtoUSB. It shows up as a NAS in explorer. Even just the ability to load a mapped drive would let me access it.

Thanks for your consideration, and all your hard work.
