The Tools load libraries from the bin folder. PDFLibNet.dll comes with it, and it should be there. If it’s giving you that error, something is preventing it from being loaded. Make sure your AV isn’t blocking the Tools or the DLL itself. That library is used to create the PDF thumbnail, not even to export the PDF file itself, so that error in itself shouldn’t stop you from exporting, unless it’s crashing the program as well.
April 11, 2015 at 12:20 am #442490got it to work on compatibility mode “WinXP”.
April 12, 2015 at 11:50 am #442595Okay, another strange thing popped up that might or might not be answered already. I have problems with the visualizer. It exports the picture like that:
April 12, 2015 at 1:37 pm #442598Already been discussed. You need to disable zoom in your Windows settings.
April 12, 2015 at 2:03 pm #442599ok, thanks! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
April 12, 2015 at 2:29 pm #442601I had this issue before with all Magnifier/Zoom settings disabled (Win 8.1) and resolved it locally by setting Display|Change the size of all items, to Smaller.

April 29, 2015 at 3:27 am #444065Here’s a huge update. Yes, you should update. All of you.
v3.7.0
AUDIO ANALYZER (NEW!)
- Now using BASS instead of SoX, this replaces the old method of visualizing mogg files in Song Analyzer, can still be loaded the same way by opening Song Analyzer -> Mogg analysis -> Visualize mogg file(s)
- Allows you to get a visual representation of the contents of .wav, .ogg and .mogg files (both loose and inside CON files) - just drag/drop the file(s)
- Can also be launched by drag/dropping a .mogg, .ogg. or .wav file on the main form or by using -audioa as a command line argument for C3 CON Tools
PHASE SHIFT CONVERTER
- Track number is now saved to the song.ini file
- Improved speed when separating audio file into its component parts (when possible) (now uses BASS instead of SoX)
- Improved speed when downmixing audio file to stereo ogg file (now uses BASS instead of SoX)
- Improved speed and accuracy when detecting silent files from non-multitrack customs (now uses BASS instead of SoX)
- Improved batch converting speed
- Removed some redundant and unnecessary options to clean up the interface
BATCH RENAMER
- Added feature to batch rename Phase Shift song folders - click on Renaming Options -> Batch rename Phase Shift folders (or Press F3) - most of the renaming options intended for Xbox files will also have an effect when renaming the Phase Shift song folders
WII CONVERTER
- Improved speed and downmix quality when creating song preview clip (now uses BASS instead of SoX)
- Fixed bug where mogg header given to preview clips would tell the game the clip was encrypted when it wasn't (and then wouldn't work)
- Fixed bug with the Smart Folder Merge feature that would manifest with songs that used the old DTA format
SETLIST MANAGER
- Fixed support for pro guitar and pro bass tuning broken in v3.6.7
GENERAL
- New (and hopefully the last) feature is being planned, so it gets its own 'Coming soon...' button to save the place - the about screen is now moved to the context menu - just right-click on the main form and select 'About...' or press F1 to see the credits
- Improvements to all the context menus and menu strips throughout the Tools for consistency a little bit nicer look
- Other minor bug fixes and improvements
- Trimmed the executable with some code improvements and the package by removing SoX
This has been a major undertaking, so hopefully no bugs escaped me. Just point them out if you notice any.
April 29, 2015 at 4:44 am #444070REALLY like the addition of being able to batch rename Phase Shift song folders. Makes everything a lot neater.
I have run into some issues though.
I tried batch renaming a big folder of songs and on my first attempt it skipped a lot of them. When I ran it again, it renamed the rest that it missed. No idea why that happens
And no matter how many times I run it, some song folders don’t get renamed and I think what’s causing that is the song title or artist in the song.ini having a special character such as “:”, “?”, and “/”
April 29, 2015 at 2:49 pm #444111Use any character in the current code page for a name, including Unicode characters and characters in the extended character set (128–255), except for the following:
The following reserved characters:
< (less than)
> (greater than)
: (colon)
” (double quote)
/ (forward slash)
(backslash)
| (vertical bar or pipe)
? (question mark)
* (asterisk)
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar … 85%29.aspx
I’ll fix it so it’ll rename but without containing those characters. Now it was probably trying and Windows was blocking it.
I pulled the link from OP because Akira found a huge bug in the many changes to the Phase Shift Converter. Updated link coming soon.

v3.7.1
PHASE SHIFT CONVERTER
- Fixed bug where downmixing the audio would fail
WII CONVERTER
- Fixed bug where creating audio clip would fail
PS3 CONVERTER
- Changed audio encryption to (hopefully) fix some of the reported issues with audio skipping and looping - thanks to djmike534 for the assistance
BATCH RENAMER
- Fixed bug with the renaming of Phase Shift song folders when the song contained illegal characters in the name
Hopefully this fixes that derp release I had before. There might be some issues here and there as I’m finding out, just report them here. IF you don’t, I won’t know to fix them ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
May 3, 2015 at 10:02 am #444457For the image could we have a picture for Partial multitracks?
May 4, 2015 at 5:23 pm #444573So instead of doing the usual “bam here’s a new tool” and dealing with feature requests and bugs after the fact, let’s do it this way.
I feel like it has the potential to be a game changer in the customs experience, as one of the most often seen problem is with transferring of files to the USB drive by old and new users alike. This will remove all the hassle and confusion and make it a simple matter of drag and drop to the screen, no matter what kind of file it is.
Here’s some quick info about it:
– specifically created and tailored for use with Rock Band 3 files – if you use Modio/Horizon/Party Buffalo/etc for any other games, continue to use them for those other games
– it will require and only work with USB drives/hard drives formatted with the new Xbox upgrade – i.e. using standard FAT32 partition instead of the old proprietary Xbox partition that Modio/Horizon/Party Buffalo/etc work with
– drag and drop of one or multiple files in or out of the program – you can drag/drop any valid Rock Band 3 file and it will sort it to the right folder for you
– new users trying to play RAR files will no longer be ridiculed on the forums since the tool will extract and add the files that are inevitably inside the archive
– no more file limit issues
– TU4 included with the program and can be copied to your drive with one click – no more hunting for it
– will interface with Magma: C3’s upcoming update so you can easily add your newly created custom to your drive
– allows you to access most of C3 CON Tools’ features directly from the drive – no more needing to extract the song cache to then import it to Setlist Manager, just right click and Send to Setlist Manager – or right click and Send to Visualizer to see the song details and preview the audio, etc.
Why am I telling you this ahead of time?
I need your input! What kind of features that aren’t already in the image and listed above do you think this kind of tool should have? It may already be there and just not listed, but if it isn’t, maybe I can implement it.
I know I’ve said this time and again. My wife makes fun of me for it. But after this upcoming release I intend to stop, barring some major bug. I enjoy programming and I love this community, but I no longer get the same sense of satisfaction or appreciation that made me stick to this community. I expect after this release and the update to Magma I will not be around much more.
With that said, any requests for this new tool, make them now.
May 4, 2015 at 5:36 pm #444577A fantastic idea for a utility. Looks to be very useful. Can’t wait to give it a go. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I’d like to see an option to display SongID in the file list, to make it easy to look for duplicates, etc.
May 4, 2015 at 5:52 pm #444581Maybe include TU1 for when people want to play those hour long customs that crash when making the stats screen under TU4 (that’s how I’ve understood it anyway)
May 4, 2015 at 5:58 pm #444583This sounds awesome. I can’t think of any requests for now but I will post them if I think of any. Also lol @
