So, I don’t know how many of you follow the Rock Band Facebook page. They recently posted the question:
Someone on Twitter asked us if Men At Work’s “Down Under” is the only non-RBN song to include the word “sandwich” in the lyrics and… we don’t know. Are they right?
And here’s my answer:

That’s very cool but slides would trigger false negatives.

December 14, 2014 at 12:08 am #434451Why is it that when I try save an image in the visualizer to get a link I always get a picture like this
Am I doing something wrong?
December 14, 2014 at 12:09 am #434452What version of the tools are you using? Do you have a custom font scaling thing going on to make text easier to read? Which windows and what resolution? How many monitors?
December 14, 2014 at 2:04 am #434459I’m using v3.5.3. No everything is default. I’m running windows 8 64-bit at 1680 x 1050 and I have a 42″ Insignia HDTV for my monitor (so that’s one monitor).
December 14, 2014 at 2:41 am #434463I don’t have an answer at the moment. I’ll have to try and make it happen on my end to troubleshoot. It is capturing the same size image as it should be, but the rectangle of the image is positioned wrong…so wrong that it’s off the form. That makes no sense, and it’s also the first time I’ve seen this reported since Visualizer was released. So it’s interesting.

That makes no sense, and it’s also the first time I’ve seen this reported since Visualizer was released. So it’s interesting. This was also my first time trying to do this with my new PC but i had no issues before when I was running win 7 on my old laptop.
December 14, 2014 at 3:09 am #434468And there’s nothing non-standard you can think of? I run Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, and before that Windows 8.0 Pro 64-bit. So it’s not a Windows 8 thing.
December 14, 2014 at 3:13 am #434470In Windows 8 there’s an option that lets you show objects bigger accounting for distance between user and TV. Same resolution but windows, buttons, etc. are bigger (because if you watch a 42″ from 8 feet smaller items would become impossible to read). Maybe that’s the issue.
December 14, 2014 at 3:20 am #434471That would definitely fall under the “non-standard” category I mentioned. And is along the lines of what I was thinking with the font being made easier to read by enlarging/shrinking. Even though Visualizer is set to not scale, so it should be the same size across all resolutions and font sizes. But no idea as to that new thing.
December 14, 2014 at 2:03 pm #434486Alright so I kinda got it to work, I was playing with the resolution and tested out every different setting and at 1280 x 800 it works fine but the display is very blurry. Guess I’ll just have to change it every time I go to save an image. Thanks for your help guys.
December 15, 2014 at 1:02 am #434523That’s not really a solution though. Got to find out what’s causing it. I’ve looked and can’t figure out on my end yet. I’ll keep looking.
