sounds like something got improved to the point of being inconvenient. next update will remove the _rb3con from the file name.
September 30, 2014 at 9:48 pm #430221In the song database, click the icon under the “PSh” header to the right of the console downloads to download the Phase Shift convert with no need for any sort of conversions on your own.
October 22, 2014 at 3:27 am #431429Small update.
v3.5.2
CON EXPLORER
- Expanded DTA Quick Access Button to also extract and replace upgrades.dta files - if a CON contains both songs.dta and upgrades.dta, the button will extract both, if only one or the other, it will extract that one - when replacing by drag-dropping, it'll know which one to replace based on the input file name ('songs.dta' or 'upgrades.dta')
PS3 CONVERTER
- Changed behavior to remove '_rb3con' from file names when creating RAR files
WII CONVERTER
- Changed behavior to remove '_rb3con' from file names when creating RAR files
PHASE SHIFT CONVERTER
- Changed behavior to remove '_rb3con' from file names when creating RAR files
FLAPPY C3 (GAME? GAME!)
- Added gold star that pops up between obstacles for extra possible points
- Tweaked default jump height and speed for smoother animations
GENERAL
- Other minor fixes and improvements
November 1, 2014 at 3:36 am #431955Could you add a mogg player?
and have mixers
November 1, 2014 at 1:14 pm #431959Why? All you got to do is extract the mogg and throw it at Audacity. That’s already ridiculously simple. Not to mention I have no experience with complex audio playback like that.

November 1, 2014 at 2:24 pm #431966Why? All you got to do is buy a Keurig or Keurig 2.0 machine, put the little cup in, and press a button. That’s already ridiculously easy (I love me some Keurig ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> )
November 2, 2014 at 4:50 am #431998So I tried using the new version with a song with both single and 2x drums and it says it’s making both files but then there’s only one con and I’ve tried this with multiple projects. Any ideas?
November 2, 2014 at 7:08 am #431999I think you’re confusing threads. Sounds liked you’re talking about Magma.
November 11, 2014 at 7:01 pm #432687The save file image editor is a really cool feature and while it is doesn’t always work for adding custom art to the game, I appreciate the effort and it’s awesome when it does work
Was wondering, is there data in the RB3 save file for created characters that could easily be exported/swapped around/replaced?
Due to being limited on how many characters you can have, i thought itd be really useful if there was a way to export the character data from the save data then if you want to use them again in the future you could import it back into the save
I know this probably wouldn’t be useful to many but figured I’d ask anyway
November 11, 2014 at 7:25 pm #432690yes the data is there, but I don’t know enough to successfully extract and replace it. there is a character editor out there that can help you modify/create new ones on the PC, but not sure if it can copy/paste existing characters.
November 15, 2014 at 12:14 am #432916After some looking around, this is what I came up with. Sadly, no, it doesn’t let you transfer characters between saves, but with enough finessing with the values you can probably just copy the stats down and replicate them.
That said, this program doesn’t look brilliantly optimised, particularly with regards to the gender setting. I might put this through its paces first, but I would suggest you also practice to make sure nothing is lost forever before really putting the program to use.
November 15, 2014 at 12:21 am #432918That’s exactly the one I was thinking of. I remember that when I worked on the Save Game File Editor I de-compiled the code and it’s written in VB, so it’s easy enough to get the source code and build from it.

v3.5.3
PS3 CONVERTER
- Improved process of replacing song IDs with unique values to match the developments with Magma: C3 Roks Edition
- Improved batch replacing of song IDs to use new numeric values and avoid overwriting song IDs that were already in numeric form
- Improved batch merging of songs to also replace song IDs with numeric values if the option is checked
CON EXPLORER
- Fixed displaying of file name when it includes periods in the file name
QUICK PACK EDITOR
- Fixed behavior that would eat lines from Magma: C3 Roks Edition in the dePACKING process
This update is mainly aimed at PS3 users. If you do a lot of packing/unpacking, you will also benefit from this, so why not update.
November 27, 2014 at 9:17 pm #433560I’m using the set list manager to list the songs that have the pro guitar upgrade. And my nirvana songs list as having No Part, which is not true in the game.

Also, is there anyway to turn off the backup feature in the Quick DTA Editor?
