In all honesty, there’s nothing more I would like Magma C3 to do, it’s a jewel of a software.
July 3, 2014 at 4:10 pm #423948Thanks for the support, but hell even I disagree. The album art thing isn’t working as intended (it should always default to 512×512 and I think sometimes it’s still doing 256×256), we have the re-release year inverted with the release year, we don’t have the option to select solos, and a few other things. But oh well, it’s good enough for the time being
July 3, 2014 at 6:27 pm #423962and Magma generates those damn “left hand position” errors that suck ass but mean nothing.
July 3, 2014 at 6:40 pm #423965Nope, told you before that is not caused by Magma, it’s caused by MagmaCompiler. I have absolutely no control over MagmaCompiler except for the dirty hacks my friend was able to do for us back in the beginning using Assembly. The errors are there for a reason: it messes up the animations. So it wouldn’t be a fix to stop showing the errors. The fix would be to stop generating broken animations ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
July 15, 2014 at 3:11 pm #424700Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I can’t seem to find a quick way to do it. What is the best/quickest way to simply convert my existing LIVE DLC files into CONs using C3CON Tools? I am doing that so I can eventually edit any of the albums, album art, etc. I found a way to do it with the packs I got by going to the Quick Pack Editor and then just hitting dePACK converts them all to individual CON files which works great. Thanks in advance for any help!
July 15, 2014 at 4:08 pm #424703Just change from LIVE to CON in CON Explorer when you replace the album art.
July 16, 2014 at 10:04 am #424750The CONs generated by the latest C3 CON Tools are crashing my 360 upon loading the songlist. The CONs generated by version 3.1.1 do not crash my 360, but 3.1.1 does not have the any upgrade bundler…
I’m testing by generating a new CON for Paranoid (ID 30b, no bundles), and trying to load it with no other customs and no cache.
EDIT: Actually, it seems the tools are not the actual problem. I’m still investigating, but I’m thinking now it’s more of a songs.dta parsing problem.
EDIT2: After much testing, I concluded that I’m a freaking idiot. That’s all.
July 19, 2014 at 11:26 pm #425027Update is up as I mentioned in the live stream. Everything should be in order, let me know if I derped somewhere and left in a bug or two.
v3.4.8
SETLIST MANAGER
- Added option to mark song 'Do Not Export' so it won't be included in exported setlists (good for duplicates) - right-click on the song in the list and select it
- Added option to search for songs marked as 'Do Not Export' - find it under Tools
- Added option to Create Empty Setlist - this allows you to start from scratch and just add a few songs manually or by drag-dropping CON files
- Fixed bug that would not save source change when changing from RBN1 to RB1 or RB2 or from RBN2 to RB1 or RB2
- Fixed layout bug
SETLIST EXPORTER
- Added feature that shows you a real-time thumbnail of your selected PDF format
- Added feature that tells you amount of pages based on selected PDF format
- Added ability to change sorting to be by Artist or by Song right in the Setlist Exporter window
- Added option to show song count on exported PDF - can be on the header or the footer
- Added option to hide or show the page numbers
- Improved page numbers to show 'Page x of y' instead of just only 'Page x' as before
- Added custom format based on request by forum member Deadly Robots
- Complete layout re-design for a fresh (and hopefully more intuitive) experience
EVENT MANAGER
- Added song count to confirmation message when loading a Setlist file
FILE INDEXER
- Improved slow loading time when you had previously indexed files
MIDI ANALYZER
- Fixed bug that would cause lyrics to export incorrectly when the note and the phrase marker started at the same time
UPGRADE BUNDLER
- Fixed bug that would fail to replace songs.dta with RBHP one if no upgrades.dta was also provided for bundling
July 20, 2014 at 12:14 am #425034Hmmm…the setlist exporter isn’t working quite right for me. Every time I make a change in options and the program tries to generate the PDF thumbnail, it throws a warning that it can’t do it. Also, the page count at the bottom reads “Page x of 0” instead of the actual number of pages.
July 20, 2014 at 12:16 am #425035post your setlist file so I can take a look.

July 20, 2014 at 2:46 am #425049Thanks for the heads up. It was a mistake on my part, not including a required DLL to make the PDF to Image conversion process work. It always worked on my end because I had installed the entire suite from that company, but the Tools only need two DLLs for what I’m doing. I had missed one
Redownload from the OP.
July 20, 2014 at 4:43 am #425053Um…still happening here.
July 20, 2014 at 5:16 am #425058You’re not downloading the new version then, because I just tested it on my computer after uninstalling the entire ABCpdf suite (prior version gives error, this one doesn’t) and on my wife’s laptop, which never had the ABCpdf suite installed. Both worked fine. If your bin folder doesn’t have ABCpdf8-32.dll then you’re not running the newest version.
