We need to create a movie trailer just for you: “He won’t stay… RETIRED!”
Also, awesome news. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
February 7, 2014 at 3:18 pm #413657Just amazing. Thank you for all you’ve done.
February 7, 2014 at 5:39 pm #413667If you downloaded the update before 12pm noon EST, re-download please.
It was brought to my attention that somehow, not everyone is using 64-bit operating systems
I had included a 64-bit version of nvdecompress.exe, so if you were running 32-bit you would not be able to do anything with the album art files, including using Album Art Converter, Visualizer, Phase Shift Converter, Wii Converter and PS3 Converter.
So yeah, re-download ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
February 7, 2014 at 5:42 pm #413670THANKS!!!
February 7, 2014 at 6:59 pm #413680When I clic the option “CON Creator” in C3 Con Tools, an error appears and then the program closes.
I have Windows 7, with 32-bits. I live in Argentina, so my computer is in spanish, but im gonna translate the text in english
“Unhandled exception in the application. If you clic Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you clic Exit, the application will close immediately.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”
[Details]
[Continue]
[Exit]I also tried to run as administrator, but it’s the same ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
If i clic continue, nothing happens, it stays in the main screen.
February 7, 2014 at 7:18 pm #413682See the warning above. If you downloaded right away when I first posted the update, download again. If the error still occurs, that means a file is missing somewhere. Make sure you’re not deleting any files AND that your antivirus isn’t deleting any files. They tend to remove “suspicious” files nowadays that don’t have enough download statistics.
February 7, 2014 at 8:16 pm #413683Well, I got the new one. It wouldn’t open for me though, probably because I’ve just kept overwriting files on top of old versions. It wouldn’t open for me unless I renamed the executable LeFluffieC3.
February 7, 2014 at 8:17 pm #413684C3 CON Tools are fully self-contained. Except for basic Windows dependencies, all you need is provided in either the RAR download or the installer executable. If you’re updating from a previous version, it is always recommended you start with a fresh folder / installation. Can you guys, I don’t know, maybe try reading and following instructions? Pretty please? Thanks.
February 7, 2014 at 10:36 pm #413699I haven’t use it in a while, but I really need it now.
When I use it I get this:
Welcome to MIDI Cleaner 1.1
You can drop one or multiple MIDI or CON/LIVE files here
You can also click on 'Browse...' to find your MIDI or CON/LIVE file(s)
Ready to begin
Received MIDI file songx.mid via command-line
Ready to begin cleaning processthen I click Begin and
No files were cleaned
Ready… along with the blue loading bar going on forever.
I’ve tried multiple midis, both loading them from Magma, dragging and dropping, and “browsing” for them and it’s the same result.
February 7, 2014 at 11:02 pm #413702Ooops. Poorly handled attempt to add multi-threading to that form when I did the last update.
I fixed it, but you’ll have to wait until I issue a patch.

I’m surprised this is the first time I’ve ever encountered an issue related to this. I usually disregard it.
Well anyways, I really like the customization options. Now I can condense it and color it to what I wanted.

v2.6.1
PS3 CONVERTER
- Changed method used to encrypt MIDI files to a more reliable and efficient tool = less failures, more consistency, less clutter
VISUALIZER
- Added option to pick between Myriad Pro (default), Calibri, Tahoma and Times New Roman fonts
- Changed behavior when our default font is not installed or accessible = program will keep running and you can just choose a different font
- Simplified ability to use a custom font = create a text file named font.txt and place it in the /res folder. Enter one line of text that says FontName=Name Here and save it. Visualizer will load that and make it default, but you can still choose any of the other fonts mentioned above. Make sure the font name is spelled correctly (case sensitive) and is actually installed on your system.
MIDI CLEANER
- Fixed multi-threading call bug that would cause the program to fail (introduced in v2.5.1)
- Cleaned up files being left behind when cleaning a CON file
ALBUM ART CONVERTER
- Added support for converting most game textures from Guitar Hero 2, Dance Central 3, and Rock Band: Blitz
- Fixed conversion from *.png_ps3 to *.png_wii
- Fixed bug that would count incorrectly how many files when converting to *.png_wii
BATCH RENAMER
- Fixed bug when changing how to name the files, settings would seem to change randomly
PACK CREATOR
- Added several new package thumbnails from RB3 and TB:RB textures
MAIN FORM
- Added ability to make form background transparent. Combine it with borderless and hide the banner = free-floating buttons!
Alright, that should take care of all the derp moments in the last release and adds a couple of cool new things. Short of a huge problem, I’m really going to stop at this point. Can’t dedicate any more time to this.
February 10, 2014 at 1:52 am #413803Holy crap Nemo. It may seem insignificant, but that feature you added to convert DC album art is awesome. Been wanting to extract an album art from DC for a while since I couldn’t find a good quality picture.
Thanks a lot for this ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
February 10, 2014 at 8:34 am #413816So turns out in that last update I derped big time and all the images are going to be shifted to the right. Smart me. So I fixed it on my end and you’ll have an update sometime this Monday. Here’s something else I added after PikminGuts92 pointed it out to me:
February 11, 2014 at 10:36 pm #413885So, I haven’t forgotten the update, but instead I’ve gotten quite consumed with this new stuff. Very exciting, hard to stop.
With the assistance of PikminGuts92, I can now proudly say that Album Art Converter is being renamed to Advanced Art Converter. Why? It can convert 99.9% of the game textures and album art from the following games:
Rock Band 1
Rock Band 2
Rock Band 3
Rock Band: Blitz
Lego Rock Band
Green Day: Rock Band
The Beatles: Rock Band
AC/DC LIVE Track Pack
Rock Band Track Pack 2
Rock Band Metal Track Pack
Rock Band Music Store
Dance Central
Dance Central 2
Dance Central 3
But that’s all done and done. What’s keeping me still busy is this other new thing that started thanks again to PikminGuts92. He figured out that our Rock Band 3 save game file actually holds the images you see in game when selecting your custom characters as well as all the custom art you have created in game.
So I’m working on this. Still got to fix the writing back to file. At the moment crashes the Xbox. But if nothing else, you can see all your images and even put your character on a custom background and export an image to share of your game creation without needing a capture card AND the character image is a transparent PNG for your use in whatever else. Capture card can’t give you that
See ya when I get this stuff figured out correctly.
