December 2, 2013 at 7:47 pm #410112Only way to test that theory is to remove that one file and try building without it. There certainly isn’t a limit of 40 files, I have packs with over 100 files in them.
If removing that file solves the issue, send me the file so I can see what’s breaking it.
It’s the song “Working for the Weekend” by Loverboy I’m uploading it now and will update this post with link gonna try removing that song from the folder and see if it gets stuck again!
It was that song, I’m just going to leave it out of the pack, I just wanted to leave some feedback anyway so maybe you can figure out what it is about that song. Do you have the song or do you still need me to up it for you?
December 2, 2013 at 7:49 pm #410113I probably have it, but upload yours because I need to look at your file to see what’s wrong with it.
December 2, 2013 at 7:54 pm #410114Thanks TN I didn’t remove the file without asking for help because I assumed it would process RB songs no problem but apparently that isn’t the case, thanks for the help and will post the link here as soon as it’s done!

So I just counted to the 41st file but that song might be in a pack? Sorry man I’m really not retarded!
December 2, 2013 at 8:23 pm #410116Are you on the latest version? v2.4.2?
It should extract in alphabetical order, whether the file is a song or a pack it doesn’t matter. Even if the file is corrupt, it shouldn’t be getting stuck, it should tell you something and move on. Make sure that where you’re having it extract files has sufficient space and make sure there are no prompts coming up that you’re dismissing.
There have been no problems like what you’re describing since the very early versions of this program, and that has since been resolved. So i’m not sure what’s breaking your process.
The program definitely can work with official or custom files. I have all official DLC in 14 4GB packs, and that was a combination of singles and packs, all created with Pack Creator.
December 2, 2013 at 8:33 pm #410118I downloaded it this weekend pretty sure after your update on Friday, I wasn’t previously aware of the awesome work you have done on LeFluffie, anyway just noticed a GH song that was converted and not sure it was converted properly, going to try removing the files that were before and after and see what happens, I’ve got enough space as well, I’ll report back in a bit!

Okay I get this but what about when it adds them? I’ve removed three files and it’s still getting stuck on song 41, would I have to go through each pack and count the songs then figure out which song is 41? I’m stumped man and not really sure how this works!
Edited to add: I’m not getting any error messages at all it just hangs on “Adding files for song 41” and looks like it’s still working by the star progress bar still moving!
December 2, 2013 at 9:34 pm #410122How long are you waiting before assuming it’s stuck? Or does it crash?
If it’s a pack it may take a while to extract based on your pc specs.

The first time I started it at about 4 AM Saturday morning and stopped it around 10 PM that night, the second time I didn’t wait as long, I’ve done six big packs already and didn’t have a problem with any of them, they weren’t all quite as big but didn’t take an awfully long time, it moves right along until song 41 and just hangs there what I mean is it was about average time considering the other packs until it gets to adding that song!
December 2, 2013 at 9:43 pm #410125Well it should never be more than a couple of minutes. Don’t know what to tell ya. Got to find the cause to be able to fix it first.
December 2, 2013 at 9:47 pm #410126I’m going to cut the pack in half and work from there removing files until I figure it out, I’ll keep you updated on what ever I find!
December 4, 2013 at 12:26 am #410160A pack of what? Using which part of the program? And make sure you are reading and following the instructions.a pack of rock band songs obviously ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> which part? the pack creator option and i’ve done more than 50 custom packs, just recently when i decided to update the c3 and create another pack it gave me that issue when the program automatically deleted my root file.
December 4, 2013 at 3:29 am #410168Never use the actual folder that you use to store your song files when you work with Lefluffie. Have your folder with all your songs, then a Lefluffie folder and maybe a projects folder so you can copy over song files to be built cause the program will automatically delete any files it’s using once the pack is complete or if it fails to build to avoid clutter, duplicates, ect.
December 4, 2013 at 5:13 pm #410174Apparently I am retarded, it was an extra folder in A Jimi Hendrix mixed pack I made a few years ago before you modified this nifty program and I was one of the only people splitting packs!
Thanks for the patience and this nifty program so I don’t have to derp my way through it anymore! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
December 6, 2013 at 12:17 am #410216Just as a heads up, next update will support PS3 album art files in both Visualizer and Album Art Converter ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
