July 3, 2015 at 9:32 am #449379No, it won’t even open. I have a button mapped to bring it up but it doesn’t work. I even opened up the Action List and tried loading it from there, nothing.
It’s probably an issue with Python itself or Tkinter, the graphic interface framework. No idea why it wouldn’t work, the only scenario where I can see that happening is on Mac OS, where Tkinter doesn’t work.
July 4, 2015 at 11:26 pm #449560I uninstalled and reinstalled Python, still nothing. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
July 5, 2015 at 4:16 pm #449593We have an update to CAT with a couple of very useful commands and some fixes. Here’s the changelog…
NEW COMMANDS
– Clean up notes’ length
This command brings notes for projects coming in example from FoF to proper length (1/16, 1/32 or 1/64)
– Pitch notes
This command removes the # and ^ chars from unpitched notes to make them pitched again. Obviously this will not automatically correctly pitch the notes, it will just make them pitched notes as opposed to unpitched notes
– Export lyrics
This command will export lyrics from any vocal track to a text file named as the RPP project plus a suffix to indicate which vocal part it’s for. It includes an option to export the lyrics with CAT-compatible phrase markers so that you can delete the old ones and recreate them automatically. This command is very useful for GH conversions to export lyrics, remove any unwanted characters and recreate phrase markers for RB standards.
CHANGES IN EXISTING COMMANDS
– The followings are now set On by default:
Fix too long sustains in the Fix sustains window
Make R+Y tom a flam in the Drums animations windows
Don’t simplify snare for Easy in Drums autoreductions
FIXES
– Edit by MBT now works without having to input a ticks value
July 5, 2015 at 8:07 pm #449604Very cool, thanks for the update! I hope authors will start/continue to utilize this awesome tool while making their customs.
July 12, 2015 at 3:31 pm #450084Noticed something when I was adding in phrase markers with CAT. I selected “Add Phrase Markers” and there was a checkbox to add OD phrases every 4 phrases. I did that but the OD phrases didn’t show up, I had to select the “Add OD Phrases” button (OH THE HORROR) to get them in. Just wanted to point that out.
August 9, 2015 at 3:22 am #452356For some reason CAT won’t work anymore.

October 19, 2015 at 9:51 am #457787Using this for the first time now, and I have to say it really is amazing what you put together here. I can’t even imagine how many hours of work this has saved me.
