Yeah, I share your confidence. Pro charts are extremely rare so it would be a useless function.

Actually, anybody can code it in Python, so if you think it can cut down your authoring times, you can download CAT and add a script yourself. I honestly have no interest in spending hours for something I and probably 99% of the authors would never use.
February 1, 2015 at 3:17 pm #437533Ok, but how long would it take for a noob that does not know how to code to do something like it.
But how long would it take you to do it, it would just be a nice feature.
February 1, 2015 at 3:26 pm #437534It would take a few hours for me. Consider I haven’t added any new script I would need because I don’t have time to script them, so imagine how much time I have for limited use features.

” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />Maybe one day when we you get free time, can you please add that idea, as it will take a few hours. but it is up to you, it would just be easier.
February 1, 2015 at 11:34 pm #437550Is there someplace the documentation for left hand animation authoring is still available?
February 2, 2015 at 5:18 am #437560Are you planing on adding this feature?
February 2, 2015 at 7:12 pm #437597If it was relatively simple, maybe I’d add it to EOF. But that depends on what the documentation tells me.
February 2, 2015 at 9:56 pm #437608If it was relatively simple, maybe I’d add it to EOF. But that depends on what the documentation tells me.Cool. can’t wait for it to be in EOF as I still use that has my main charting program and it is more easy to do pro guitar.
I also might know what page it is, http://pksage.com/rbndocs/index.php?tit … _Authoring
Just keep going down to left hand animations, I hope this helps.
good luck.

But that depends on what the documentation tells me.Also raynebc, if you do add that feature, can you also add the option to make your own left animations for people that don’t want to do pro guitar, with my songs I will be adding pro guitar.
February 3, 2015 at 6:53 pm #437666It doesn’t look too complicated, although I probably wouldn’t add anything as detailed as how long each left hand position note is. Do any tracks except 5 lane guitar/bass use left hand animations?
February 3, 2015 at 7:02 pm #437667Do any tracks except 5 lane guitar/bass use left hand animations?Keys and drums do.
Keys has its own tracks for animations alone, though. One for each hand.

I’m going to be adding pro guitar to my songs so I can’t wait to test them, but yeah drums and keys do have more animation options, I wish guitar would let you pick which string and stuff.
February 3, 2015 at 7:24 pm #437670If you’re focusing on features outside of CAT can you please discuss them on another thread so we can keep this one all about the automation tools?
