Thank you. I have taken Man with harmonica and Chi Mai (I prefer the Hugo Montenegro version for The good, the bad and the ugly, and the two version are not so different to have the two for me)
I’ve returned to my roots this month, with guitar-heavy instrumentals, and two classics.

Vivaldi’s Winter is the short version – frankly, I didn’t even know there was a long version until I loaded the audio into reaper, and discovered that, two full minutes after the song seems to end, there is another piano section.
You can see this for yourself in the youtube preview. The song appears to end at 3:37. There is nothing but silence until 5:40, when the piano returns, for a short, but sweet solo.
I’m all for artistic intent and all of that, but seriously, two full minutes of dead air? No thanks. So, I cut off the song at the 3:37 mark. Anyway, my guess, this is really a separate song, thrown in as an Easter egg for their avid fans. If I ever chart it, which is doubtful, I’ll treat it as an independent song.
Speaking of sweet piano solos, Miracles, my favorite song off that album, ends with a great one, and you don’t have to wade through endless nothing to get there. Miracles is great fun on every instrument, and that one has gotten a lot of playing time on my xbox.

Chariots is joint work with Tails4eva, the others are solo ventures. Thank you, Tails, for reminding me of this incredible tune.
If you don’t know these last two classics, check them out. Both deserve a prominent place in anyone’s library.

For the guitar, I thought the solos had pretty good charting but the verse/chorus are definitely a bit off.
AFJOne has taken this one on, and will redo drums. Should have an update soon. We also have a Princely tribute in the works.
Four customs for May. Three of these are true classics, and by artists who have been completely ignored by Rock Band. No more! The fourth song is pretty obscure, and from an album that no one ever bought, but it is a real masterpiece.

Shirley Bassey did several of the Bond themes, with this her best. She had an incredible voice, but I don’t know much about her work.

I can’t believe that Tina Turner has almost never appeared before in C3. How can that be? WE NEED MORE TINA!

This, of course, was another One-Hit-Wonder band, but, surely, this one has to be in your library. What a great song.

This is a strange album – some amazing guitarists took a few old classics and redid them in a Guitar Battle format. The album sold moderately well in Japan, but nowhere else. Most of the tracks are forgettable, but this one … amazing. Now, if only we had a custom of the original Purple Rain. Yes, thanks to Nunchuck, we’ll have that soon too.
If you don’t know this instrumental, give it a listen. It really is outstanding.
