OK, played “Come and Get Your Love” three times, and “Cupid’s Chokehold” once.

 

“Come and Get Your Love”

Played Expert guitar, Expert Vocals, and Hard bass. Charts are very good. No tempo issues detected, a couple of 3 button chords on Expert guitar, was in bass groove pretty much entire song. Consistency of charts was good. Overdrive present in all 3. Absolutely nailed the trademarked “call and response” harmony parts of this song. Really, *really* good job on the charts from what I can see. This song will get a ton of future play in my household.

 

“Cupid’s Chokehold”

Played Hard guitar. Never heard this song before, hope Supertramp is getting royalties ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” /> Again, very solid chart, overdrive was present, no chart or tempo issues that I could detect.

 

Only quibble that I can note…looks like you didn’t do dry vox for Harmony 2, so there’s no vocal animations for the secondary part. It’s noticeable in the “Take a look at my girlfriend” part in “Cupid’s Chokehold”…since the camera cuts to that singer for the entire verse and there’s no lipsynch animation. Again…a very minor quibble.

Really good work overall. Looking forward to whatever you choose to release in the future. Thanks much, Battle Penguin.

Excellent start. So good that it made me download customs again after months of not doing so. Both of these songs I love and my wife is a huge, huge fan of Cupid’s Chokehold so she was glad to see that make it to Rock Band. Keep it up.

I noticed the singer not singing for the chorus of cupids chokehold too. the dry vox should be there, but ill look into it and see what I can do. Could it be that Harm 1 is not the one singing the chorus?

I have a few more tweaks to do and I should have a third song uploaded tomorrow. Keep letting me know what I can do to improve on these : )

Here’s another custom that I worked on. The drums were tricky, its a lot better now than how I had it, but I still think theres work to be done. Harmonies were hard for me to hear too, i decided not to include them (yet?). Let me know your thoughts : )

 

 

Also, I have a question if anyone can help; whats the protocol if you add missing instruments to a custom someone else already started? Do you just give them credit, are you supposed to ask them first, etc? Thanks again
