Hey everyone, this is the first version of the first full band chart that I’ve made. Just looking for some feedback and notes of any fixes that could be made.(I’ve already spotted some.) I’m still pretty new to customs but I’m getting there, so thanks in advance for any feedback.

Zip up your project and post it.

It’s much easier to provide solid feedback that way.

It’s great that you are doing some One Direction!

Post the .con or Project file and I would be happy to give it a look.

I don’t see any tempo markers. With no tempo map, the gems don’t line up. Looks like it might be a fixed tempo, and maybe 118.5 would do. The rendered wav is oversaturated (too loud) – there’s lots of audio clipping. Back off your volume so it’s rendered to +0 dB.

Bass M16.2.25: These are all 1/16 early. M16.3.50: need another strum here (and everywhere else with this pattern).

          Vocals

M13.2.50 Are you using scrub mode to place tubes?

          – “the” is 2/64 too early. Also “way”.

          – “she” is 4/64 too early – don’t include the “s” sound.

          – “walked” is 2/64 too early.

          – recommend a scrub throughout to adjust these timings everywhere – looks like a lot of copying and pasting.

          15.3 and(Bb)

          16.1 it – add 4/64

          17.3 past – add 4/64

          17.4 guards© +(Bb) +(G#)

          19.4 owned?

Thank you! I do have a tempo map, I just had charted in the wrong version of the reaper project so I had to copy and paste over there. And I’ll go through and scrub those sections over again and add the lengths to them. Thanks for your input on the bass, I had a hard time charting it along with the drums, not being able to fully hear them very well. Thanks for your help so far though <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
