Another fix went up for those of you who downloaded the new release .rar.
I forgot to update the Optional Upgrades folder so that one still had last release’s keys/pro guitar updates. Oops. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_emot-3.gif”>
May 19, 2014 at 7:07 am #420585“Blew” appears to be breaking something in the packager. At first I was only getting 143 songs in my dummy cache builds, rather than my usual ~700. I tried a few things, and eventually realized that all the songs alphabetically following “blew” were missing from the song library (what tipped me off was that “About A Girl” and “Black Sunshine” were the only other songs from the latest update that were showing up).
I removed “Blew” and rebuilt the packages, and sure enough my full song library was showing up again. So apparently something needs to be fixed in that dta file! Just wanted to give you the heads up and help anyone who may have encountered the same problem. Thanks as always for the latest batch of new songs, espher! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
May 19, 2014 at 10:51 pm #420639Weird, I had fixed that (and subsequently tested in game prior to release), but it is wrong in my folder… that’s… odd.
I’ll upload fixed archives.
May 19, 2014 at 11:06 pm #420642Are these PS3 compatible?
May 19, 2014 at 11:13 pm #420643Are these PS3 compatible?The project is not currently PS3 compatible.
It is on the schedule (our PS3 guy had his console die before we could finalize a process, but it IS doable, and it was what eventually led to customs on PS3 to begin with).
May 29, 2014 at 3:47 am #421301Need someone comfortable with what makes RBHP work and able to test a new feature that aims to easily combine RBHP and pro upgrades into existing midi/con. PM me for details.
Please don’t waste my time if you’ve never used C3 CON Tools or REAPER, or are not familiar with the inner workings of RBHP/pro upgrades.

If it’s cool with you, I might lean on the code for this for something else I want to do, involving combining various .mid parts into one RBHP upgrade .mid.
If that stuff can work, I may look into a web solution for packaging.
May 31, 2014 at 12:30 am #421461Well maybe the code already does that

June 7, 2014 at 12:22 am #421923Good catch, thanks. The other should probably be monstergaga or whatever the actual song is named — I’ll upload some fixed files.Just a heads up gaga’s song is still just monster instead of monstergaga as of today’s release.

Hrm. Weird. I’ll fix it up.
Should still be fine with the folder named incorrectly afaik.
June 7, 2014 at 9:11 am #421951There is still an issue with some songs. I just downloaded the newest master files and deleted my cache and only loaded these song packs. There is an issue with these songs:
Freezepop – Get Ready 2 Rokk – choosing harmony freezes the xbox when loading, choosing solo works fine
Freezepop – Science Genius Girl – choosing harmony freezes the xbox when loading, choosing solo works fine
James Brown – Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine – Choosing either solo or harmony gives “Unable to load song, skipping”
The other songs in these packs (Freezepop 01 and Get the Funk Out 01) are fine.
I didn’t include any keys charts when building my harmony files. I included all the harmony charts and the only optional fixes I included were the song info fixes and the chart fixes.
June 7, 2014 at 2:55 pm #421960Those files, afaik, haven’t been touched since I recorded video + uploaded them. getready2rokk and sciencegenius girl haven’t t been modified since July/August 2013. getup since March 2014.
I will occasionally get the ‘unable to load, skipping’ error for a song 2-3 times in a row and then it will work, but ymmv.
I’m doing a bunch of audio capture today but I’ll load my RBHP setup after and test all three out on my end. If you want to e-mail me the songs.dta generated by the packager, that might help too.
June 7, 2014 at 8:03 pm #421982I will definitely email you the files later when I get to my computer.
FYI there are a couple comments on your spreadsheet about others having trouble with Freezepop also.
I know that the error about skipping the song comes up every now and then but getup is the only one that does it every time.
