April 4, 2014 at 2:12 pm #416959They look awesome. Goo Goo Dolls for sure. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Thanks for the hard work each week.
April 4, 2014 at 2:41 pm #416962AnonymousWell. My mother was half correct! And it’s a good song!
April 4, 2014 at 2:48 pm #416963Hi. Can I request a favor. If there’s only a 5 second keyboard part throughout an entire 3 or 4 minute song, could you not bother charting the keyboard part? I just don’t see the point.
April 4, 2014 at 2:52 pm #416964RB:HP delivers as usual and thanks to clintlonia for some much needed GH conversions! Looking forward to what next week will bring us! Where is that guy who kept complaining in the comments about no multitracks. 2 straight weeks of ALL multitrack songs. Thanks guys!
April 4, 2014 at 3:18 pm #416965Dammit. I had Her Strut pretty much finished and was nearly half way done with Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love.
I haven’t had this happen ever, and this week it happens twice!
Not a huge deal, since GH conversions don’t take that long, but still a bummer.
At least these versions are more polished than mine.
Does Her Strut have the same exact ending as the GH version? I always thought they did it wrong, and in my version, I edited the audio to end a few seconds earlier on the guitar sustain.

I just don’t see the point.Sure, we’re gonna deprive of a chart people who want to play all parts of a song just because you don’t see the point, that’s exactly how we roll.
April 4, 2014 at 3:21 pm #416967Will be cherry picking some of these songs. Another solid week guys!!!!
April 4, 2014 at 3:35 pm #416968Wow a pile of great releases this week, good job by all who were involved. All twelve songs are being added to my collection. Also a great week for RBHP releases.
April 4, 2014 at 3:42 pm #416969Hi. Can I request a favor. If there’s only a 5 second keyboard part throughout an entire 3 or 4 minute song, could you not bother charting the keyboard part? I just don’t see the point. You do realize that HMX did this too, right? The name of the game is completeness. Don’t like a song’s sparse part on X instrument? Blame the band for only playing 5 notes on the song. Somehow, they thought those 5 notes on a keyboard were necessary for their song. Who are we to say otherwise?
But I know what you mean. Luckily, I have an idea. Get a copy of the x360 library. If you want, I can send you my slimmed down and fixed up version. Then grab a copy of NAudio. Grab Visual Studio. Learn C#. Then make some sort of MIDI analyzer that will count the notes of each chart. Maybe make it give you a notes per second count, and hell you can even set your own threshold, so based on the length of the song and the total notes, you can make your program give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down if it doesn’t have quite enough number of notes. Bam. No more feeling screwed by a song with only 5 notes on Keys!
April 4, 2014 at 3:43 pm #416970Sure, we’re gonna deprive of a chart people who want to play all parts of a song just because you don’t see the point, that’s exactly how we roll. There’s just no end to what people complain about. This one takes the cake though. Gave me a good laugh.
April 4, 2014 at 3:47 pm #416971I’d like to thank pksage for being a straight up baller and typing up the stuff for RBHP for the blog because I totally said I would but have been absolutely swamped trying to get all the finishing touches/testing on the tracks for this RBHP release (the astute observers among you may note that some of the files have close-to-midnight-my-time timestamps from last night). As the other admins can attest to I was really having trouble stringing sentences together by the end of the night, so writing a (typically me) 1,000 word blog entry would have been a total disaster.
This was a mammoth release with a lot of contributed tracks, and, as always, I am extremely grateful for those contributions. There are a lot of really interesting harmony parts here — perhaps from songs you wouldn’t have expected to be all that interesting — and the keys charts from the release include some of the most interest (and perhaps most challenging) to date.
When all is said and done, we’ll be looking at three and a half years of harmony upgrades, a release schedule that averages out to just under one on-disc or DLC harmony upgrade per day. Hopefully we’ll have some more keys upgrades coming along — I know they’re oft requested and quite popular, but I don’t have the proficiency to do them to a level I would consider satisfactory, and so that’ll rest on the hands of the other contributors. Fortunately, many of them are willing to step up to the plate, and the plan to bring keys upgrades to the full RB1/RB2 discs is something I am really excited for.
I hope you guys have enjoyed the ride, and enjoy it the rest of the way — there are still a lot of really interesting charts in the pipeline, and sooner or later (hint: sooner) I’ll have to start taking a look at tackling some full albums…
(I do want to give people a heads-up that the May RBHP release may be a half-size release (depending on where I get with it) as I will be moving in May and expect to have most of my evenings consumed by that… but after that we should be back on pace for a release schedule that will likely see us polish the pack off on Christmas Day, 2015.)
April 4, 2014 at 3:59 pm #416973Wow! I had a feeling that Clintilona was busy working on something big, and here it is. This is now my favorite release of the year thus far (takes over the top spot from February’s 60’s pack for me). Van Halen, Sabbath, Motley, with a double helping of Tesla and many other classic goodies all in the same week?! You got to be kidding me, just awesome. Even though I did own all these songs in GH, every time I’d play them I would always be left with the same feeling…”man, I wish I could play these songs in RB” and now thanks to C3 it’s a reality. Thank you custom gods, once again I am not worthy (but as usual, I will take them anyway).

I can’t wait to see what’s in store for next week’s C3 Anniversary. This is all very exciting!
April 4, 2014 at 4:07 pm #416976Fortunately, many of them are willing to step up to the plate, and the plan to bring keys upgrades to the full RB1/RB2 discs is something I am really excited for.I am definitely looking forward to this too. We already have 5 down! The more songs I already own on keys the better!

Full releases every 3 weeks! Just kidding of course, looking forward to whatever is put out.
April 4, 2014 at 4:20 pm #416978Another great week! Thanks to clintilona and ws54 for the great songs this week! Very well done. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
