Something for everyone…very well played C3, very well played indeed
What an incredible week of variety. Thrilled for moar Motley Crue, and my wife actually yelped with glee a little when I told her about the Nora Jones & Madonna tracks. But for me personally the biggest news by far is the return of the mighty Zeppelin!! It seems so fitting for me to celebrate C3’s one year anniversary with some more Led Zep since that is how I actually discovered the whole world of customs in the first place. Last April I stumbled upon a video floating around that showed someone playing “Stairway to Heaven” in RB3 and I immediately became obsessed with figuring out how to make this happen in my living room. It eventually led me to C3 where I found that original batch of Zeppelin customs (among many more from other favorite artists) and it literally rocked my world. Now one year & hundreds of downloads later it all comes full circle with two more iconic songs from the ones who started it all (for me at least), simply perfect.
Congratulations to everyone at C3 on an absolutely incredible year! The words “thank you” almost seem too small to express my enormous gratitude. This customs community is the best thing on the whole damned internet as far as I’m concerned. I am so thrilled & excited for what might lay ahead for C3 in the year to come and beyond!
(but certainly no need to wait a whole year for more Led Zep tho, just sayin’).

Someone was working on it (even posted a visualizer of what he had done here on the forum, it was full band), but that was a year ago.
Since then, nothing.

There have been amazing tracks throughout the year coming from C3 authors, some of my favorite songs of all time:
Sunshine of Your Love, After Forever, Stairway to Heaven, Good Times Bad Times, Immigrant Song, Hurdy Gurdy Man, Time, Goodbye Blue Skies, Dogs, Layla – to name just a few, quality this past year was stellar.

I do have one small issue: My kids can’t play the Zeppelin songs! Even on medium there are tons of orange notes and they are not used to that. Shouldn’t there be hardly any orange notes on medium? I mean, they’re getting better but Zeppelin is too hard for them! Maybe someone could “fix” that? My kids’ll make you mac and cheese in gratitude! Thanks!

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the C3 releases over the past year. Most of these same people have helped many non-C3 authors learn to create customs of their own. Seriously, words can’t begin to describe how stoked I am, even if it’s just two songs! I only hope you made endings for them (’cause both of these songs end in fade-outs on the record), and the best thing is that this opens possibilities for more multitrack Led (or maybe to go back to the previous ones and give them a multi update, but then I’ll be asking too much, I guess).

Both songs have original endings, no fade out. So there’s actually a chunk of both songs that most people have never heard before.
This 12 pack epitomizes the awesomeness that is C3. These great songs cover many decades, genres and difficulties. Then to top it off they are all multi-track. Perfect mix of songs for the 1st anniversary. Everyone in the community will find songs they want. Huge thanks to not only these authors but all of the C3 authors. I look more forward to Fridays then I did with Tuesdays. Can’t wait to see what the next year(s) bring.
