Is there anyway to convert Guitar Hero 3 customs to Rock Band 3 as there are a couple songs that I can only find GH3 charts of and no Rock Band 3 one.

A couple of them include

From what I’ve found, they don’t use the midi format and I haven’t found a way to convert it to a halfway usable midi file either. Without that, there’s no quick way to do any conversion, unfortunate as it is.

For sure there is a way, Many of them have been converted or files to do them are out there. If the songs haven’t been converted already I doubt you will get a lot of help with them here.

Your best bet is to do some googling of the subject matter & learn to do them yourself.

Import .chart file

Select save seperate rbn files in settings (a new file, notes_rbn.mid will be created. Use this mid)

Export

Do with those files as you would with a normal phase shift song. It’s that simple.

Can you explain the third step further? I don’t see that option in “settings” or “preferences”.
