May 29, 2015 at 9:21 pm #446668I know this is far-fetched, but because some of these songs are possible to play in Rock Band Blitz, is it possible to edit the files how they are and make other songs playable in Rock Band Blitz through those files? If you understand what I mean by that.
Sounds possible doesn’t it?

Someone who knows what they’re doing should look into this.
May 30, 2015 at 4:57 am #446697Someone once did a proof of concept to get a song to load on RB3 TU5 by using a RB1 file as a base.
I think it used the same tempo map from a RB1 song (all the notes were out of sync with the tempo map so the notes were still in time with the music) since that’s what TU5 uses (along with song ID and stuff) to discern whether or not the .CON was from RB1 or was a custom/pirated song.
That should work with Blitz, but you’d be limited by song length etc and probably a lot of other things, so it wouldn’t be as easy or as comfortable as customs on TU4.
If you want to play customs on Blitz, mod your 360 haha

Eh, if only it was that easy. I’m telling you, it’s possible somehow to play customs on Blitz without a modded Xbox. If I knew what I was doing, I would totally look into this nonstop.

Yes, he just explained how it can be done. And he also explained it’s easier to mod an Xbox. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
June 1, 2015 at 5:26 am #446804Were the PS3 conversions post- or pre- pause fix? If pre, how do I fix them, if at all? Thanks!
June 6, 2015 at 4:28 am #447299I don’t know why people are having trouble with these exports, or why you’re using TU5 AT ALL, but whatever. I have all those missing exports here. Are these all just regular RB3cons I can load like official C3 songs?
I would try it, but I’m away from home for a few days and don’t want to forget to ask lol
June 7, 2015 at 1:05 am #447377Yes.
June 13, 2015 at 7:37 pm #447903Yes.OK, cool.
Only a few of them show up ingame (Let There Be Rock, Run To The Hills, Paranoid, Hier Kommt Alex show up, the rest don’t) so I wasn’t sure if I needed to do anything.
I don’t know what to do with the others…

They should show up. All the songs are in the game for me.
June 14, 2015 at 3:15 pm #447979Hmm. My usual tricks to make things show up only caused Rock and Roll Star to show up. Any Way you Want It (the one I actually care about) still won’t show up, along iwth a few others.
My tricks being change the song ID and then put the song in a pack with CON tools

Open the pack in C3 tools and check that the correct number of songs are showing. If I recall I found an extra comma in the rock n roll star dta which caused errors with other tracks not showing up in my custom pack.

I made an individual pack for each song, so I don’t think that’s the issue.
Regardless I opened up one of the packs that wasn’t showing up in quick pack editor and it does indeed show the one song with the edited song ID I gave it.
I’m not going to delete my cache but later I’ll try it with a different USB stick to see if they show up on a new cache
June 24, 2015 at 12:41 am #448859Thanks so much to @C16 for the archive!
Pretty much all the songs work for me right away, but I’m having trouble with only Spoonman. It doesn’t show up in the song list, but I doesn’t throw any “corrupted” error, either.
Now, I do pre-build a cache using TU4 for RBHP purposes, but the other non-export RB2 songs are working just fine without alteration in that process.
Song ID for the downloaded file is “espoonman1”, which I assumed is altered from the original (as are the others, generally with an added “1” in the ID). I did re-download the track and rebuilt the cache, just to make sure the file didn’t wind up corrupted, but there was no change in the result.
Is there anything I’m missing? Anything new to try?
January 11, 2016 at 11:45 pm #461893There is a Black hole sun Rb3con format, it works with TU4
