I definitely have a lot more respect and appreciation for Terry Kath than I had before this project. I never really listened to Chicago’s entire discography before.
March 25, 2016 at 8:14 am #465935NEW RELEASES 3/2 – Pearl Jam
Since I feel the need to release something this month here you go. This is the re-recorded version of Even Flow with Dave Abbruzzese tearing it up. It was done during the same session as Breathe and State of Love and Trust from the Singles soundtrack ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I’m not trying to be a pain.
I’m not allowed to post the gh80s version of no one like you but the one in the game is a rerecording but the cover was based on the original and not the rerecording.
But this is a rerecording but the one in rb is the original so if the cover from gh80s was based on a rerecording and the one in RB4 now was the original i would be able to post it?
Sorry if i’m not making any sense.

Yes you are not making any sense. I’m not apart of this discussion you are talking about and there is to my knowledge no release of this version anywhere is the rhythm gaming universe so why would it be a problem.

When did this happen? Can you refresh my memory on what went down?
March 25, 2016 at 9:38 pm #465967Also this is a re-record but by Pearl Jam and not some cover band.
March 25, 2016 at 10:03 pm #465969UPDATE 3/25 – Chick Corea (aka Steve Gadd) 2 Pack
Here are 2 jazz fusion songs from Chick Corea’s late 70’s output. Drummer Steve Gadd was a beast and both songs are the funnest to play so far for me. He was a very prolific session player in the 70’s and 80’s and I will definitely be featuring more of his work. Thanks to BearzUnlimited for double checking my work on Dear Alice.

April 6, 2016 at 1:40 am #466576Chicago will be inducted this friday into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. How to celebrate how to celebrate?????

Does anybody really care?

I……………… don’t. Care………………………… about time!
April 6, 2016 at 3:31 am #466591I feel like we made a joke about that earlier…
I don’t understand the Hall of Fame’s thought process behind inducting members. Chicago has been around since the 60s, has produced over 30 albums, many of which became hits, and generated many well-known songs, including the one you mentioned and the legendary “25 or 6 to 4”. I know that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a band worthy of the Hall of Fame, but I feel Chicago has long since deserved it. I mean it took them forever to get Rush in there and they’re one of the most influential in both prog and playing style.
They’re kinda like the Oscars. Except Leo DiCaprio now has his so the joke isn’t as humorous. But there’s always Johnny Depp, Glenn Close, Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr., Edward Norton, Ed Harris, Sigourney Weaver, Harrison Ford…I could go on.
Anyway, I digress.
April 6, 2016 at 4:00 am #466594Well the major turn they took in the 80’s towards power ballads kinda ruined their street cred among the rock critic elites which is stupid but what are you going to do. Actually they are only being recognized for the 10 year period with the original line up which ended with Terry Kath’s death. So still no love for their massive 80’s success but hey as long as they get some credit better late than never.

I’m sure that Peter Cetera will cry his tears into his swimming pool filled with $100 bills.

Here is part 1 of my 2 pack release for Chicago VIII released in 1975. The music would start to be simplified and more straight up rock but no less creative nor fun to play. Credits listed below. Also thanks to my friend Masayuki Funatsu for creating a great image for this pack.
