A simple way to swap the midi of a CON file?

Given that C3 CON Tools has the extraction tool for getting midis (among other things) out of a CON file, is there a tool that I’ve missed to replace the midi file inside of a CON file? Something like how the Quick DTA Editor works? Or is there at least a convoluted way to repackage that CON using the other extracted files with a different midi file?
Basically: not having to go through Magma.
I understand that this type of action could easily create broken CON files, but there are tons of customs in the database that I just want to make tiny edits to without going through the rigamarole of getting my own non .mogg source audio file, syncing it up in reaper, and manually reentering all the song info into Magma. There are sooo many customs with missing drum fills, poor choices for hi-hat on blue, notes off the grid, way-too-hard reductions, improper note tail lengths, too-demanding vocal charting, or even just a basic chart that doesn’t make sense (can people not keep track of when a note is higher or lower than the previous note?) Unless I REALLY like the song (like Glass Prison by DT which I’m currently mildly recharting with help from its authors), these tiny issues usually mean I A: I stomach them or, more often, B: I just drop the song from my library.
Is there a means to make these edits without having to go through Magma?
Thanks
Look at above pic.
Even easier – drag the replacement MIDI file over the MIDI button or over the .mid file in the contents box, and it’ll ask if you want to replace. Click Yes. Click Save.
You guys are lifesavers, thanks! Figured there had to be some sort of functionality like that I just couldn’t find – the entirety of C3 CON Tools is treasure trove of features you didn’t know you wanted.
As a somewhat mediocre customs author myself, I would hope that rather than silently ‘fix’ customs for yourself, you would communicate with the author to improve customs for everyone’s enjoyment.
And yes, I DO sometimes have trouble identifying relative pitch. I’m not a musician. I don’t have a perfect ear. The midis I sometimes use aren’t always accurate. I’m sure I’m not the only author with these or similar issues. But we do the best we can to bring songs we want to play to Rock Band. If other people also like them and want to play them, fantastic. It makes us feel a little warm inside. If other people don’t, that’s ok too. The tools are there for everyone to use to make customs according to their various tastes and skills.
I agree with Kemiroch… at the very least; offer the author your fixed MIDI.
You are about to leave Rhythm Gaming World and access the external songs DB. While no song or file sold for commercially available videogames is hosted there and only fan generated content is allowed, Rhythm Gaming World has no direct control over the database and no files are hosted here. Alright, we had to made you aware of this, now you can visit the database!
