Any idea what the problem would be here? When I go in and look at my Vocals MIDI it does have the track name at 1:1:00 but I get this error every time. Is there something I’m missing?

Check if the track is slightly moved to the right, drag it all the way to the left

One of the community managers and the main tournament organizer over at SpinShare. Also somewhat decent at charting for RB3 I think.

Double click the marker and type in the number would be safest

            – Open Part Vocals

            – Double Click the “PART VOCALS” event

            – Set it as “TRACK NAME”

            – and Place it at 1:1:000 or the start of the cursor…

                Same problem.

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI track name event must appear at 1:1:000; found track name ‘BEAT’ at 123:3:000

Beat track is dragged over to 1:1:00

Beat track event is set to 1:1:00

If I move the Beat track to 2:1:00 it will then read

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI track name event must appear at 1:1:000; found track name ‘BEAT’ at 1:4:000

                Thanks

Make sure you don’t have any other track-name markers labeled “BEAT” or anything else elsewhere in the track.
