I feel dumb for not figuring this out myself, but anyway… every time I open up Reaper, I get this annoying popup message that hihat.wav could not be found, because apparently the C3 Template keeps looking for it under D:c3customshihat.wav. Note that I cannot just copy the file to that folder, because D: is already used for my DVD drive.

So how do you modify the C3 Template instead, so that when you load it, it points to a different folder? I tried to look in OptionsPreferences for the place where the folder D:c3customshihat.wav is defined, but I could not find it… for example there is a place under PluginVST where you define your location for the W1 Limiter, so I was expecting to find this other one here as well, what am I missing? :crying:

        Open the template

        Select all instances of hihat.wav

        Item Properties (F2)

        Choose new file…

Don’t forget to save the template when you’re done.
