I’ve released “Run” this sunday but in my control panel, it is marked as released in 2015-11-14 (I’ve just released Buckethead’s “Soothsayer” at that date) also it is marked with 1,795 downloads but in the db, it has around 230 views.
PS: Soothsayer is missing from my “Your Songs” list
June 21, 2017 at 1:02 am #486668You accidentally replaced Soothsayer with Run, since Soothsayer is nowhere to be found in your control panel. Since I just discovered that the migrate views script never ran after my initial pass (I’ll fix this tomorrow) and Run actually has migrated views, something that could only have happened weeks ago, I don’t see any other explanation. It would be good to know if you accidentally did that or if something happened with the system: do you recall if anything happened during the upload of that song?
June 21, 2017 at 1:38 am #486670I was looking trough some options and opened the “Upload new Version” option using Soothsayer as a test, I’ve canceled the action and then picked “Upload/Registre new custom” to upload run. For some reason, the CP thought I still wanted to replace Soothsayer… Right now I was able to recreate the bug, clicking “upload new version” of “Let it Die” and canceling it, so when I try to “Upload/Registre new custom”, that is what shows up (the CP stills think that I want to replace Let it Die) :
June 21, 2017 at 9:37 am #486681Ok. That is something you should have mentioned before though, I spent half an hour trying to figure out the issue when it was pretty clear once you think that the song that vanished is the song you were trying to replace. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
June 21, 2017 at 1:27 pm #486684This makes me look I was like “How can I make Farottone spend a half hour today?” Lol. Sorry for the inconvenience!
But still, if I click “upload new version”, “upload/register new custom” becomes another “upload new version” button, I hope this can be fixed soon so another dumb user like me don’t srew things up again hahaha
June 21, 2017 at 3:37 pm #486686I’ll fix that tonight. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
June 21, 2017 at 10:15 pm #486697I noticed one thing too, kinda off topic but similar, that songs that you upload after the ones that had already been there are showing up as their file names rather than the actual song titles and artist names.
June 21, 2017 at 10:21 pm #486698Some examples of what I mean:
^ One thing I don’t get from this is that Gooey is brand new, versus La Mantra Mori which I uploaded quite a while ago (but both were uploaded around the same time on C3 Universe file-wise)
^ This one is a better example, like The Bones Of Baby Dolls shows up as the song title and artist name while Scream Of The Butterfly is just the file name
(Sorry by the way I just thought this topic would fit the “stat bug” idea)
June 21, 2017 at 11:04 pm #486701And you already read the docs where this is addressed?
June 22, 2017 at 12:08 am #486707The upgrade bug should now be fixed, can anybody do a test?

I’ve tested and the bug still happens in both my PC and Smartphone
June 25, 2017 at 7:43 pm #486870All of my problems seem to be resolved. Thank you Farottone!

I’m pretty confident it was fixed but you could still see the “Replace file” text. You should now see the proper text.
July 1, 2017 at 5:48 pm #487117Is there a reason why
Under the “Your songs” tab it might show 53 songs in top left corner while Showing 51 to 51 of 51 records?
Under the “Profile” tab
It shows:
51
Files ReleasedSongs Ranking
39th with 56 downloaded songs
Yes, some songs were deleted but the mismatch between 51, 53, and 56 seems odd. Is this what was intended?

You have the answer right there. Unfortunately deleting files that have downloads attached to them will cause these numbers to skew. The important number is 51 which matches the number of song entries owned by you in the database.
Keeping the content Canadian since 2017!
