How to play Customs and DLC at the same time?

Hello. I’m having some friends coming over to play Rockband next week and I want to know how to load my paid DLC songs and my customs at the same time so I won’t have to switch memories in order to play certain songs.
I have an USB stick with my real Gamertag and my paid DLC, along with the RB1 export. And I have another USB stick with my fake profile, TU4 and my customs.
I once managed to load all the songs at the same time, I even got RBHP working on RB2DLC along with customs and RB3DLC.
Now, I plugged in both sticks, deleted TU5 from the “official” stick, loaded the game with my custom profile under TU4 and the game loaded all the songs (1054 in total).
The problem is that my DLC songs appear with the RockBand logo on the cover, won’t display any audio preview and, if I select one song to play it spits an error loading the song and returns to the music library.Weird thing is, only the RB1 export songs load and play with no problems whatsoever.
I don’t know how I even got all the songs to work at the same time the first time that I installed RBHP.
I tried deleting both song caches and rebooting the game, I once formated my official stick (I moved my progress to the XboxHDD before) and redowloaded all my DLC, I even re-transdered my licenses to my own console in order to fix this, but it still won’t work.
What am I doing wrong?
Most likely, your problem is related to the default installation method of the Harmonies Project. The dummy file is used for creating the song cache, but it can’t remain in place, or your DLC songs won’t work. It also has to be done whenever the song cache needs to be deleted, for one reason or another.
For that reason, I have baked the upgrades into my song files. This takes quite a bit of time but it’s a one-time procedure, unless the song receives more updates as part of the project.
I’ve outlined this procedure several times before, but if neither of us can find those old posts, I’ll do my best to write another short tutorial. Regardless, get comfortable using C3 CON Tools if you want to go that route.
No. I installed correctly the RBHP, but that was like 2 months ago. Then I deleted the Upgrades files and played customs and DLC separately.
Now I tried to plug in my two USB sticks to play the songs (without the RBHP) and the DLC shows up, but doesn’t work.
Funny thing I forgot to mention. My DLC didn’t show up at all before I re-transfered my licenses to my own console, just the RB1 export.
Now it shows up, but I can’t play it under my custom profile and TU4.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but the only reason why the RB1 export works is because they’re CON files, same as customs. As opposed to any other official dlc/exports which are LIVE files.

All right. I guess I’ll have to redownload all my DLC to try it out.

Hey guys. A friendly update on my issue.
Yep, the problem was lying on my licenses. I re-transfered my licenses to my own console a few weeks ago (Which I found weird because why would I need to retransfer my licenses to my own console?)
I formated my USB stick and redownloaded all my DLC and now I can play safely on my custom profile under TU4 and play both DLC and customs.

-Well, in a few words, (as I do it) you need to have plugged in both your DLC and your customs memories/hard drives/USB sticks at the same time.
-Very important! You need to own the licenses to the purchased DLC on the console you pretend to play, as they allow you to play it offline (This means that you can’t play customs and DLC at the same time if you don’t have the correct licenses on your console)-Make sure you delete TU5 and song caches before launching the game.
-Play normally under TU4 with your fake/custom-safe profile.
-Have the greatest RockBand party ever

You would think since it’s something HE needs he would take 10 seconds and check the stickies that we put together over the years, but apparently unless somebody does that for him he won’t budge. Well, if he is okay with that, I sure am.

Sometimes on Reddit some threads pop up of people saying we are evil and unreasonable and we abuse our power, making up stories that even other neutral users who have no connection with us call out as lies. Usually the people who throw around those lies are those who have no interest in following the most basic rules like reading the forums rules before posting or checking that some information is available before asking for it.
So, just in case this happens again, let’s clarifiy that ajacks02 has been banned for insulting an admin/mod after trying very hard to make moderators lose their time by simply not even reading the sticky threads. The 4th stickied thread in this forum is titled TUTORIAL – Playing Custom Songs (Video) and explains exactly what is needed. Everytime any user thinks their time is worth more than that of someone who, without getting paid, helps people have fun for free we get kinda irked. But still we don’t act, because that’s not enough. We do act when insults are thrown and in general people behave in an unacceptable way.
