Here’s a very brief video re: the birth of the Seinfeld theme.
I never realized that *every* episode has a different version of the theme. That’s pretty amazing, IMO.
January 9, 2017 at 3:49 pm #479995Thanks for sharing! I found the parts about Wolff observing Jerry’s timing of his jokes and how he tied in the timing of the theme music to reflect Jerry’s ‘feel’ pretty fascinating. Also the bit about everyone being onboard with the music except for the network execs was rather amusing. Annoying can be good thing sometimes. lol
January 9, 2017 at 4:00 pm #479998Total coincidence, starting tonight me and my wife are going to watch the entire series again. Cannot overstate how much we love this series.
January 9, 2017 at 5:04 pm #480000I guess you got used to Centaurian time. It’s the only explanation.
January 9, 2017 at 5:46 pm #480001The best time!

OR IS IT???!?!?!??!?!
I’ve never re-watched the series in order. Good idea!

Correct.
Seinfield episodes are only 4 minutes in length in farottone’s dimension.
Makes re-watching much more efficient!

I don’t believe you’ll be gritting your teeth for too long.
The show has a way of growing on you. Favorite Episodes, anyone?…. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

The great thing about “Seinfeld” is that within the first 15 minutes, you’ll know whether you like it or not. If you don’t, just punch out then, because there’s 7 seasons of essentially the same thing.
Also, while I wouldn’t recommend it for “Seinfeld” newbies, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” might even be better than “Seinfeld”.

But as AC/DC would say, “excuse me, it’s actually NINE seasons of the same thing”
January 10, 2017 at 7:05 pm #480047Seven…nine…what’s the difference. You’re right, of course.
Want to make something of it?

So many great episodes to choose from but the episode where George Costanza had been in the pool & had “shrinkage” issues tops my list. # 2 would be the episode where they all agreed to abstain from any kind of sex. Kramer didn’t last 5 minutes.

January 11, 2017 at 5:35 pm #480085Seinfeld is my favorite comedy of all time. Loved it since I was in the eighth grade and was amazed when the DVDs came out and how well they were made. Before that I had every ep recorded onto VHS tapes.
I was also an active member on the “seinology” board in the mid 00’s. Being surrounded by show fanatics was awesome when the forum was at peak activity.
Haven’t done a run through in a few years though. Just caught eps on TV every now and then. Maybe I should join Far and watch it again.
