Reaper Crashing on New/Load ReaScript

Just thought I would make a post here in case anyone else came across this problem since I have found the solution that worked for me that wasn’t posted anywhere else.
I am using Reaper 4.22 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.
Originally I had Python installed on a different HDD than my main “C:” drive as well as I had 2.7.11 installed.
What seemed to work for me is installing 2.7.12 as well as keeping Python installed on the main “C:” drive. After that, everything worked great.
Hopefully this helps anyone that has this problem in the future.

this has not worked for me. i am on windows 8.1 64 bit, reaper 4.22
i have tried doing what you said with 64bit python but it still crashes, 32bit python’s installer shows this error when i try to install it
Your best shot is the Cockos’ forums, since that’s a Reaper-specific matter and not related to customs. Hey, no problems in posting here, actually if you find the solution having it posted here is valuable, but I think you’re way better off asking in their community.

Hi, I was saving for a new watch and decided to avoid spending on random entertainment. While visiting my cousin, I watched him play a few rounds and later tried it at home.
