Wanting to get a little feedback of something I’m thinking about doing, a Monkees project. Nothing too big, some songs from their latest album, ‘Good Times!’, some songs from the 60s.

    Any thoughts on it?

You Bring the Summer and She Makes Me Laugh are excellent. I haven’t heard the whole album yet but those would be great.

It’s filler free! Possibly their best album!

Just realized that you also said songs from the 60’s. Daydream Believer would definitely be my first pick. It gets requested a ton on here too.

Found a really good MIDI of Daydream Believer. Has Vox and Pro-Keys.

Just put ‘Daydream Believer’ on my WIP list.

Wow – had no idea they had a new album !

Listened to the 2 new songs Fat Ha1p3rt mentioned and think they are great so those plus some of the classics would be great !

It’s their best album as a whole in my opinion! Their debut is in 2nd place.

I’ve thought about it and I’ve made a list of songs I’m wanting to do sooner or later (some are half-way done):

    Take a Giant Step

    Saturday’s Child

I Wanna Be Free (this is half-way done)

Papa Gene’s Blues (drums would amazingly fun on this)

    Steppin’ Stone

    Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow)

All of Your Toys (my 2nd favorite song from the group, period)

Randy Scouse Git (title of this supposedly means “Horny, Liverpudlian Jerk” in the UK)

    Goin’ Down (Breaking Bad, anyone?)

    The Door into Summer

Cuddly Toy (this one is just a possibility)

What Am I Doin’ Hanging ‘Round?

    Valleri

    D.W Washburn

It’s Nice to Be With You

    As We Go Along

    Listen to the Band

Someday Man (this might be their most underrated song IMO)

Mommy and Daddy (original version with the dark lyrics)

That Was Then, This is Now

    Heart and Soul

Long list. Long time before it’s all done.
