It appears to be a replica of a fender jaguar according to some.

      That looks sexy.

Some people think it’s going to be a new dedicated bass controller, which I’m all for. Whether it’s a guitar or bass, I’ll be getting it just for the blue. It needs to go on my wall!

My Mad Catz Fender P-Bass has a place of honor amongst all of my controllers.

Even if stupid Mad Catz sent me the white one instead of the sea foam blue one I originally thought I was getting.

Tee-hee I got the seafoam blue. I use it almost exclusively – it’s either that or the GH II X-Plorer because I cannot afford another guitar sadly.

I love the Precision Bass though. Split strum bars all the way!

Makes me wonder why they didn’t do a partnership with PDP from the beginning of Rock Band 4. They sunk MadCatz.

I think there is more to it than that. You would think that if a company drags a partner in the pits of almost bankruptcy, no other entity would be so crazy to partner with that company, but Harmonix found PDP pretty quickly. I think Mad Catz overshot on stock because they needed a huge loan to stay afloat, and they just delayed the inevitable by one year. I mean, as I’ve been saying from the beginning, how do you manage to have a crazy surplus of stock and not have enough items to sell at the same time?

I just got my wired white one in the mail. I bit the bullet and swallowed the ridiculous Ebay shipping costs from the US to Europe. I almost had a Stage Kit as well but lost out on that one. Still, like Bansheeflyer said: double strumbars all the way! I can’t believe the difference such a seemingly small adjustment makes.

Now we definitely need more Donald Duck in Rock Band and I have been slacking off.

On topic, I think I need this new guitar seeing how the new bass guitar is wired and can’t be used for RB4, is that alright Darling?

The P-Bass is a top 5 Rock Band peripheral of all-time for me.

                  Counting backwards…

#5 – M.I.C. It’s a crappy microphone, it’s a controller…it means your singer can actually pick what song they want to sing without asking somebody to hand them the controller to do so.

#4 – Mad Catz Fender Telecaster guitar. I have the Blue Steel one. The fake wood looking one was sold out when I ordered.

#2 – Beatles Gretsch Duo Jet guitar. Sexy. All three Beatles guitars are Fab, but this was my favorite.

#1 – absolutely, unequivocally, the Stage Kit

This would be so much better if it had an rb-button to be able to skip past letter-categories.

EDIT- and it does (At least the RB3 version has it), upping the usefulness of the thing by a mile.

I’ve got the blue one as well, it plays great.

                    Yes, rub it in, why don’t you. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

                      My favorite RB peripheral:

Beautiful, ain’t it? Yep, I’m mighty happy to have myself one of these left-handed guitar controllers!

But seriously, I concur about the microphone/controller, very helpful in not having a controller sitting around doing nothing but draining its batteries for minutes at a time. It would be nice if they’d make those for RB4 and the newer consoles.

The wooden strats are the best ever.

I have heard this before elsewhere…the wooden Strats definitely have a fervent fanbase! I’ve never seen one in person.

I never pulled the trigger on one due to the price differential (I think I could get a Telecaster *and* a P-Bass for about the same as a wooden Strat…so it was an easy “more is better” call at the time).

However many years later, all of my Mad Catz peripherals are still in working order, so I guess the ROI was pretty good. RIP, MCZ.

I do really want that Telecaster…
