    Good afternoon, everyone.

Yesterday I posted about modifying custom songs so the spanish version could be heard and the spanish lyrics could be displayed. I’ve been working on that, and have progressed well (I guess).

I managed to modify the midi and place the new song to replace exactly where the first song was, so it’s synced.

Even C3 CON Tools built the .CON file, and had no trouble moving it to the console, in fact, album art, name, artist, everything’s showing inside the game’s library as it should, except for the audio. When I try to play the song, the game just crashes and sends me back to the dashboard. So there’s the problem.

C3 CON Tools visualizing, even PLAYING the song’s playback. That’s why I get confused when the game doesn’t.

Please notice that it’s not the first custom I try to load, in before “do you have the right TU?” (I have 2500 playable songs in game).

If someone could give me a hand with this, it would be cool. ‘Cause I am really lost to what I should to get it working. Here are the files I used, and also the .CON file.

    Thanks in advance!

You did not build that correctly.

You can’t mess with the audio file or DTA file outside of Magma or you end up with problems. It looks like you don’t have a backing track, which is required by the game. If you only have the backing audio, you don’t need to pretend there are multiple drum stems, so just use kit instead of what you’re using now. And audio has to be in backing, not in vocals.

The EVENTS track is also missing music_end. You need to touch as little as possible if you’re not sure what you’re doing. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>

Thanks! I’ve already added “music_end” to the EVENTS track.

I’ve added the audio to the backing track, and for the rest of the instruments I left the “audio/stereo44.wav” file.

Anyway, I keep getting this error while compiling the MIDI

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (repoke): Track contains multiple track name events (repoke and TEMPO TRACK)

I’m sorry to keep bothering but I’m not good with this haha.

What should I do to make that error dissappear? Because I don’t really get it

I answered my own question by touching some stuff. I’ll see if I can finish this now

EDIT: Magma has compiled succesfully! Wow, this feels like a great achievement. And I feel somewhat dumb ’cause it’s not as hard as it looks.

        Here’s the song running

Congratulations, it’s a pretty big step. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Seeing that editing a song is not that difficult makes you want to pick up authoring instruments. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
