Hey, sorry, posting again for help. So when I play my song in-game, the notes aren’t in-sync I took a video to show you:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLTAxg6HTRc
So that is what happens in-game, which if you couldn’t tell, isn’t what I want. The notes are synced to the music in the preview in Reaper, but in-game they aren’t.
Am I maybe using the wrong audio track? The audio track I’m using or the parts and backing has the exact same 3 measure pause in the beginning as the one in Reaper, it’s the exact same file.
January 5, 2016 at 12:46 am #461610I would say consolidate/export the music file from Reaper and put that in Magma. I had this problem with Born in the USA. I was using an old audio file. Just make sure it’s the right one you put in

Are you talking about putting the raw audio file in the “Backing” part of Magma? The charting tutorial I read said to render the project as a .wav and to use that as the “Backing”.

When in reaper, click on your music track so it’s selected then go file, consolidate/export tracks. Then you put that file as your backing track in Magma. I do it this because then I know the music will be in time with the charts
January 13, 2016 at 3:25 am #461996Ah hah! When what you suggested there didn’t work I was messing around with Reaper’s settings and in “Preferences” then “Recording” at the bottom there’s a checkbox that says “Use audio driver reported latency”. This didn’t sound good, so when I unchecked it and tested it out it worked! I suppose I’ll have to turn it on and off depending on whether I’m charting or testing but from here on out it’s smooth sailing. Thanks MANG0.
