Couple of hints, going a little in-between last week and the week before for challenge.
- Even though it’s not from the film, I’m in lesbians with this song.

So it’s not from the movie, but still Scott Pilgrim related. Anamanaguchi? They did the videogame’s OST, and I remember how popular “Airbrushed” was on RBN…

Plumtree – Scott Pilgrim, probably, since that would be what inspired the name of the graphic novels/movie.
#3 definitely seems to be Metallica – Whiskey in the Jar if by most recent it means out of the 3 acts in Rock Band.
The best I can imagine for #4 is something with Sweet Home Chicago since if I recall there was something about it maybe being about California originally. But that seems like an unlikely choice given the hint so.

This came to mind as did Sugar by System of a Down. But “sweet” could be a lot of things. Ice Cream Man? Golliwog’s Cakewalk? C is for Cookie?

I’m thinking this could either be “I Want Candy” by the Strangeloves or Bow Wow Wow or “Chocolate” by The 1975 (I hope).
Would be ok with the previously guessed “Sweet Dreams” by Marilyn Manson too.
