Oh hi friends.
Here are some more hints. I’d type a long blurb but I don’t really have time this week, so here are some hints to whet your appetite.
- This West Coast act, who currently only have one song currently in Rock Band, see their catalogue brought to a reasonable and respectable trio with singles off two other albums.
- An act previously featured in Rock Band and with tracks on the Rock Band Network makes their C3 debut with the addition of their debut single.
- A track that was arguably this British artist’s biggest hit joins their only other entry in the catalogue, which was a track that was arguably this artist’s biggest hit.
- This French artist and his collaborators also make their plastic instrument game debut this week, thanks to this earworm that no doubt greeted you every time you turned a radio on in 2011. You know, much like the many other songs from French artists and collaborators in 2011 (there were a lot, for whatever reason).
- An assortment of tracks from this American-but-surprisingly-Huge-in-Canada act’s mammoth debut album signal their Rock Band and C3 debut.
- This Canadian television composer also makes his Rock Band debut with a selection from his elaborate soundtrack portfolio that adequately reflects the time of year — well, unless you’re in Canada, where it would be approriate coming out in about another three months. Dammit.
- Another seasonally approriate selection, albeit for different reasons, this track complements six existing tracks from this artist with a fifth selection off their greatest hits album and one of the shortest songs available in Rock Band.
- Previously featured in both Rock Band and Guitar Hero, this rock band makes their return to the C3 spotlight with a re-introduction of their rhythm game debut.
Did I mention it’s a pretty big week? Because it totes is.
March 20, 2014 at 6:41 am #415824This one is tough. These feel like approachable clues, for the most part, but they are just general enough to be tricky.
Some acts featured in both RB and RBN: New Pornographers, the Shins, Jonathan Coulton, Texas in July, a day to. Remember , All That remains…. New pornographers seem possible if the clue refers to RB as Rock Band the game, not the platform.
The French artist is stumping me…Justice, maybe?
Google tells me the Canadian producer is probably someone called Daniel Ingram. Google goes on to tell me that he is internet famous because of something called bronies.
I was trying to think of artists with 6 songs on the platform, and came up with Yes and the Vines, neither of which seem likely.
Ah well, I suppose I’ll sleep on it.

It could be Ween “Push th’ Little Daisies”.

Everclear?

March 20, 2014 at 3:32 pm #415836I’m sensing a Spring theme here, (not sure how obvious that seemed, I’m a little slow in the morning). So I am on board with the possibility of that Ween song, but I am drawing a blank on other Spring themed songs…

Then I’m 100% certain that it isn’t Weezer’s Hash Pipe ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
HOWWWEVER, I’m almost sure that
