November 15, 2013 at 8:40 pm #409285To all of this weeks authors, most excellent!!!
November 15, 2013 at 9:28 pm #409288Thanks for the All That Remains tracks. I noticed that I have a Pearl Jam Yellow Ledbetter (Potato Wave) version of the song. Was this version done by farottone in the past?
November 15, 2013 at 11:59 pm #409293Yes, it was. It was a misheard lyrics version, look up Potato Wave on Youtube, it’s pretty funny.

November 16, 2013 at 7:59 pm #409313Ok, so I just installed the latest version of Yellow Ledbetter and the vocal audio is WAY out of sync with the scrolling lyrics. I had the old “pre C3” version of the song for a while and never had any problems at all (gold star vocals nearly every time). I replaced the old version the same way I always do by deleting it from my dedicated “customs” stick and then copying the new version over from a second thumb drive via the 360. I do it this way to avoid the 250 file glitch that some have experienced. I have replaced at least a dozen updated songs this way and never had any problems before (besides a Motley Crue umlaut incident, but that was clerical and was fixed).
So am I the only one experiencing this major sync issue on the vocals for this song? If so, WTF is that about? As it stands right now, the new C3 version is unplayable for me and like a dumb ass I already deleted the old file from my PC. Any advice from the customs masters would be greatly appreciated (I love this song), thanks.
November 16, 2013 at 8:26 pm #409314Very sorry, I had some personal issues and I also had to make a last minute fix that may have broken something. I’ll check it in a couple of hours.
November 16, 2013 at 8:29 pm #409315Farottone asked me to check the song, and it looks like I forgot to check Vocals or something else went wrong along the way, as I gave it the OK thinking it was all good. And obviously it isn’t.
Sorry! The good thing about us being us is we can issue fixes! So a fix will be coming soon. Sorry for the inconvenience to you and my fellow admin.
November 16, 2013 at 10:29 pm #409320This is outrageous and unacceptable! I demand only the highest quality when it comes to stuff that I get from the internet for free. Just kidding of course, you guys are beyond awesome (but you already knew that, right?). Thanks for the quick reply. After I had already posted about the issue (and went back to rocking), I remembered that I’m supposed to use the bug tracker but I honestly wasn’t sure if it was perhaps caused by something on my end when I swapped the song out.
I also just wanted to add a HUGE thanks to Drihscol and whoever else worked on the Pink Floyd song. I’ve been dying for more from them since I discovered these customs. I honestly thought we’d have a bunch of their songs “custom made” by now since they were one of those unattainable bands that couldn’t be officially licensed for RB, but even just 3 minutes of Floyd is a crap ton better than none (only about 79 more minutes to complete The Wall, which was actually released in November of ’79…coincidence? Yeah, most likely).
November 16, 2013 at 10:39 pm #4093213 minutes of Floyd is a crap ton better than noneNovember 16, 2013 at 11:49 pm #4093263 minutes of Floyd is a crap ton better than noneThanks I misspoke, I do have that one already along with a couple of non-C3 tracks by them. I meant to say “3 more minutes”. When I first saw Pink Floyd in the heading of this weeks blog post my head almost exploded. Finally, I thought maybe a 6 pack like Zeppelin (or was it 7). then I remembered that huge Weird Al pack recently and I thought that perhaps this is why it took so long for more Floyd, they’re putting out a 12 Pack!! OMG, maybe even The Wall or Dark Side in it’s entirety…omg, scroll down, omg, so many iconic classic tracks, so many possibilities…wait, what, just one song, and one of the shortest songs they ever recorded at that (which I still love). So I sat completely deflated for a minute, but then I realized that I should be happy to get anything at all and I quickly told my sad brain to shut-up and got all
November 17, 2013 at 12:26 am #409327Awesome choice for Pink Floyd. Anyone up for the film version of “Empty Spaces”?
Thanks to all for the Pink Floyd, Bruno Mars and Pearl Jam songs! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
November 17, 2013 at 5:27 am #409333This might sound strange, but I want more Bruno Mars, mostly from the Unorthodox Jukebox album (Treasure, Gorilla, etc.). I also want to see something from Pearl Jam’s new album, Lightning Bolt. Otherwise, love the artist selections!
