Maples vs Oaks

There is unrest in the forest

These is trouble with the trees

For the maples want more sunlight

And the oaks ignore their pleas

Which wood do you prefer?

For me, if it weren’t for maple, I wouldn’t have smooth writing with a pencil and lighter drumsticks.

And the syrup they make, yummy!

Maples are fine and Oaks are good, but I think nothing will ever beat the Larch.

My acoustic kit is a birch wood but I do want a maple some day.
