I’m thinking about placing a fairly big clothing order from ASOS and I’d really like to understand what to expect in terms of product quality. Not interested in shipping or discounts, just the actual clothes. Are the product reviews online honest and useful, or are they too mixed to rely on? I’m especially curious whether they give a realistic picture of fabric, fit, and overall finish.

Recently, I wondered about this very question: How reliable are reviews on ASOS for clothing quality? Instead of relying on general ratings, I focused on longer comments where people describe specific items. Many shoppers talk about how the fabric feels, how well the items are tailored, and whether the size matches their usual size.
The value of reviews lies in their detail. When several different shoppers independently describe similar impressions of the weight of the material or the cut, it starts to seem consistent rather than random. By reading several reviews at once, you can get a clearer idea of what to expect from different product lines without relying on just one opinion.

Totally agree that detailed comments are where the real value is. When different shoppers mention the same fabric weight or fit issues, it stops feeling random. Reading multiple longer reviews instead of glancing at stars gives a way clearer picture. Appreciate you highlighting that approach.
