We are currently doing a major overhaul of our attic and are thinking about turning it into a living space. One of the solutions we are actively considering is installing skylights on the roof to add natural light and make the room more comfortable. I read that such windows can greatly change the feeling of space, especially if the ceilings are sloping. But at the same time, there are doubts: how reliable are they in terms of tightness and thermal insulation? And how do they behave in rainy or snowy weather? Maybe someone has already installed such windows and can share their experience – is it worth the money and what nuances should be taken into account when choosing and installing?
