First off would like to say thanks for the customs, tried a bunch of them out and loved them.

 

That being said, is there any particular reason why the lead parts on both One Headlight and The Way are not charted? If it’s a problem in charting I can do that for you, just send me the files to edit them and I can take care of them. The way they currently are is disappointing from a Guitar standpoint. Looking to hear back from you.

Well guys, I just finished the Drum Track of my first custom. I haven’t compiled it together yet as I’m working on figuring out how Magma works. I’m wanting to make sure I can get it to play before I start working on everything else. Only downside is I do not have a drumset on me currently to do the playtesting of the chart. If I am unable to go to a band-mate’s house, I might need someone to give me feedback on the chart. I’m a little unsure of it right now, but am overall pretty satisfied with how it looks.

 

In regards to the drum chart, I’ve simplified the chart for all difficulties and have pro-drums charted for it as well. I am assuming that the toms are correct, though I did chart by ear on it so I do not know. I will get this complied sometime tonight either way to make sure it works in some essence, but if anyone wants to try it out, PM me. I do not want to post the song here until I have it at least charted for everything (whether it’s polished or not).

Welcome! I really appreciate you making sure all instruments are included in your customs. Also, props for only working on one song at a time. I have seen countless people post in this forum all of the songs they are “working on” at any given time and it is usually like a wish list of about 10-15 songs. That seems like the worst way to go about it as you never get anything done that way. Looking forward to your first release whatever it may be.

 

Thanks! I just feel that doing all of the song will help me be better at authoring overall for more complicated songs down the road. Also, I tend to play with people who are playing all the instruments or like to jump back and forth, so I definitely feel like I’ll have to do this anyway.

Hey you know people do have jobs… not everyone has time to do full band songs but i respect all that do, but remember that.

I do, but I do know a lot of people only chart what they always play and don’t want to do the rest. Which I understand as well.

I have and it has been very helpful. I didn’t find a midi of the song that I liked, so I opted to do it the hard way and do it by ear. I also have watched a good chunk of the video in said PDF document, as to have a visual representation of what exactly is going on.

They also have a cover of Transylvania on The Horror Show album. That entire album is pretty awesome if you haven’t heard it yet.
