I have an original Xbox 360, with two HDD’s. One is the regular drive with gold, proper saves, etc.
The other is the customs drive which gets swapped out if ever I am playing them.
I would like any suggestions of improvements or errors. Here’s some vocal feedback:
Words with multiple syllables need to be hyphenated: e.g., M41.3 “E lec tric it ty” should be “e- lec-tric- i- ty. Use http://juiciobrennan.com/hyphenator/ for best results. See my tutorial video for an example of converting lyrics into syllables in a text file and then importing those lyrics to your syllable tubes.
You know, it was your video that got me started with all of this. It gave me the initial start to author all of this. As such I did follow the instructions, however when it came time to load the lyrics, it wouldnt do it, no matter how many times and ways that I tried, so I went and input all the lyrics manually.
Now that I have some other errors to work with, I shall get those sorted and check through the rest of the song for similar issues.
That is extremely thorough. I figured that Pro keys would be the biggest issue of them all.
I was concerned about the amount of shifting in the earlier version, hence the removal of the higher notes to allow for less over the course of the song. I think the main issue I will have with it is that I have no music theory under my belt so shifting of chords is confusing to me. Presently I think I am much better suited to 5 lanes and I think that is what I will work on with a couple of others.
I have a few sings in my head to practice with various elements (harmonies, more difficult drums, rhythm on bass songs, etc.) so will mess around with them over the next few days and throw some things up.
Ive made further updates. Mostly complete but lots of fine tuning required.
I would like any suggestions of improvements or errors.
I know that dryvox still needs sorting but I am making headway on this one.
I feel ashamed to say that I only have about 100 songs of DLC in total. I’ve exported the previous games into RB3 but that is about it.
I will probably add more over time as there are still many thousands of songs yet to get.
Thank you for your assistance.
If I may ask though, what are the glaring issues? What are the things that really are a problem with the charting that need fixing? This is after all my first completed following a second attempt and I don’t want to keep repeating the same mistakes.
I shall practice on a few other songs and go from there, see how they pan out
Okay, got another version with some of the above issues sorted. Correct album art, working animations.
This file is the new RPP and rb3con file.
I personally have no issue with this whatsoever.
There may at some point be a case where is said that this site is sharing copyrighted files. That in of itself can lead to severe financial penalty for those involved.
The files are distributed with a name attached to who released them. Encryption to disallow the separating of audio gives at least some legal barrier with which to work with should the issue ever arise. These songs can only be played on one medium, a medium in which these songs are not able to be purchased or listened to in any other way. This also gives a legal barrier.
You may feel disheartened by not having access to all the audio files, but in reality you are missing out on nothing. I say to keep it as it is so that C3 can carry on without worry.
Yup, just installed 32 bit reaper and now it works.
Give me a little bit and I shall polish it up a little, creating another file. The file I already have with the tracks probably wont change all that much.
I tried getting CAT working because after all, I would like an easier life in all of this but for the life of me could not get it working. No matter what I did Reaper just kept telling me that it cannot detect a suitable python installation no matter what I try to do to get it to the right place.
I’ll give it another go, I suspect it may be down to using 64 bit reaper so might need a new install.
I don’t, so I can only assume that is the reason for that. I shall make amends.
You let me know what you need and I will get it on over to you, just to make sure that everything syncs up nicely.
To make it a little easier, here is a further RAR file with the music file included. Link
A couple of things I noticed playtesting with other people yesterday. There’s no character animations. I would have though that there would have been the drums and keyboard as I put the relevant notes into their finger positions but I guess there is something more that needs doing to get that working and I am a little stumped on that.
Genesis is one of my preferred bands and I do enjoy several of their songs. There’s a good chance that I will probably end up doing a few here and there in the future. Once I am a little more experienced that is.
Okay, made some adjustments. Got some things working.
Created all Bass difficulties, got the vocals working. I know that the vocals will need fine tuning, I just wanted to get them mostly working.
Drums have been altered, though not made easier for the other difficulties yet.
Another question I have is about how I simplified the Bass from Expert to Hard. I didn’t just erase notes, I changed the style.
New version is available for download Here
Let me know what you think of the update.
Thank you for that, I had a feeling it would be something simple but which I missed.
