Just a quick update: Haven’t had a lot of time to work due to work and family life. Recently found some time to get back on it. I’ve completed Expert guitar, bass, and halfway through working on drums. So far so good I think. May need to reach out to the community for help on vocals and animations. Hope to be able to contribute more in the near future!
November 13, 2018 at 1:10 am in reply to: WIP – We Were Promised Jetpacks – Quiet Little Voices #501849This is exciting! Been checking to the site this morning to see if it’s up yet!
Thank you all for the motivation to keep pushing forward!
Thanks for taking the time to reply and share your thoughts jerrylive365! Yeah, I hear you on the frustrating part! It’s just a lot to learn and know about but it definitely is fun, and I’m sure it’s going to be extremely satisfying to play a custom you worked so hard to create! I’m going to continue on with trying to complete this custom… Might be a year before I’m done but I’m going to stick with it lol
Lesson learned! I may just start a new project. Wasn’t too bad getting the notes to line up. I have a pretty good MIDI file except the BPM of the MIDI file is less than the BPM of my audio file. I’ll keep messing with it.
Eff! I was afraid of that… I’ll read around to see how I can fix that without having to start over. Thanks for taking the time to reply RealCheese! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I was going through some old music of mine and checked the database against them and was surprised to find that there are zero “Thursday” songs. I thought they were a popular band but apparently not as popular as I’d thought. I’m not usually into this style of music but some of their songs rock.
Understanding in a Car Crash
Cross Out The Eyes
Thanks! I finished the guitar part, well at least got them roughly in the correct place. I may need some help with the tempo map or at least make sure I’m somewhat on the right track. In certain sections of the song, the notes line up perfectly but then it gets out of sync for no reason (as far as I can tell) and it doesn’t quite line up with the music even though the notes are lined up correctly on the grid. I’ll keep investigating and reading tips but I’m excited to work on this!
June 4, 2018 at 8:00 pm in reply to: Duplicates in Song.dta File and List of “Showing Songs out of” #498485Also, for clarification, I do not have duplicate files or folders in the merged songs folders when the CONS are converted in the Merged Songs folder.
June 4, 2018 at 7:58 pm in reply to: Duplicates in Song.dta File and List of “Showing Songs out of” #498484Maybe? I have my CON files in the Documents folder, and then the C3Tools folders along with the Merged Folder resides on my Desktop. I’m not sure where the breakdown is as I follow the same process to convert:
1. I drag the CON file, which is in my Documents folder, into the PS3 Converter.
2. It outputs the files into the Merged Songs directory in my C3Tools folder.
I follow this process whether I have one CON file or several different songs CON files. I have individual entries in my song.dta file, such as “Default – Wasting My Time” and “Incubus – A Crow Left of the Murder.” Doesn’t cause an issue in game so I haven’t really worried about it but I’m also put off that in my song library it says showing 1100 of 1190. As mentioned in the initial post, this isn’t the exact number but my library shows a lot less than the total songs and I’m wondering if this is the reason why.
I know this is an old thread but I’m looking to make a song request thread and wanted to make sure no one has already requested.
+1 for Pitiful and All of Us. I love both of those songs!
+1 for Future Foe Scenarios and Three Seed!
Awesome, I appreciate your efforts!
Thanks Bansheeflyer. I’m new around here and tried to look at everyone else’s request threads to see how they did it. I seen a few people request several random bands in one, and isolate a thread for one band and multiple songs.
The Hives – Automatic Schmuck freakin rocks!
