Out of My Head” is a classic 90’s ballad from Fastball

Always love me some Fastball. Off that album we’re only missing one more that had a ton of radio play! I just sang this one for the first time and the chart is excellent! I need to make a good 90s setlist one of these days…

It’s all been done has been charted for awhile, fun song! http://customscreators.com/index.php?/page/index.html/_/its-all-been-done-r23984

Now that Out of My Head has been done – I hope someone does Fire Escape!

Hell yea! Was excited to see some of these pop up in the database! Even more excited for the addition of vox – wish I could help with the charting but I’ve still yet to get the hang of it myself.

Stoked to see “Whore” with talkies – the SO is going to love getting to belt this one out!

Finally got around to playing 45 – NOT DISAPOINT! Makes me with they would have released the playtested 59′ sound! Solid work, one of the most fun songs I’ve played recently! Thank you for your contributions!

Very excited for the 10 Years. I’ve been slowly (very slowly) working on the song Wasteland by them as I learn how to do this, life gets in the way sometimes. I guess you can say it’ll be done in about 10 years… I’ll see myself out.

Ah, excited to play more of your charts, by radio friendly I only meant one that has charted, has mainstream success , not content radio friendly (actually one of my main qualms of official songs is the censorship). I look forward to your future releases! Consider this thread subbed by me!

Love em’ all! Any updates on some upcoming? Maybe the radio frendly “Room to Breathe”?

in reply to: How do I change dry vox sample rate to 16kHz? #457521

I can’t use Audacity, since it automatically goes back to 48kHz. Help?

Just use reaper – mute anything you don’t want in this file and render dropping down here.

Thank you all for the support. I’ll be back to REAPER and attempting some of the tips and instruction. I really do want to figure this out. I have about 3 days a week I can spend working on this due to work… for the forseeable future I know how my days off are going to go!

Unfortunately the song is not usable in Rock Band. It’s not that you placed one marker, it’s that you are placing notes whever to follow the audio and not on a grid. Notes need to follow the grid, measures need to be properly formed. That’s a must, you can’t do without it. We definitely need the passion of any author, so please consider starting over this song and release a version with a proper tempo map. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

No disrespect because I’m honestly honored that you commented, but when you say not usable in Rock Band you mean it is not mapped in the spirit of the game; as a con, as a file on the xbox, it literally “works” in a remedial sense.

I one hundred percent agree it needs a proper tempo map and I am more than willing to start over (I understand the note progression and what needs charted as how through the song I think anyway since that had yet to be critiqued). What I am still lost on is as far as tempo mapping, using q, the song just keeps increasing tempo each measure, time I set a marker. Charting to the audio by ear is the only way to fix it. By chance – do you have a comon song with a reaper file tempo mapped and with say an mp3 that I can mimic trying to match the right way from scratch?

Essentially, for ME to learn.. From what I have, I’d like to see someone recreate and let me see what I did wrong. I do feel like that won’t fly. BUT. If I could see another song taken from mp3 and mapped maybe I would get it.

I’m not trying to get my thread locked, I’m asking because otherwise I’ve yet to read anything that had clicked for me yet.

    It’s Goldfinger

    Ha

If you can hit the bass pedal fast enough with 1 foot ? Then yea you can play 2x songs with 1 bass pedal.

Most likely not haha. I just didn’t know if it was totally incompatible. Rock Band tends to turn into Drunk Band where the scores don’t mater and the notes can be suggestions. I’ll be sure to pick up the 1x though to make it right.
