Anyway, I keep getting this error while compiling the MIDI

I answered my own question by touching some stuff. I’ll see if I can finish this now

 

EDIT: Magma has compiled succesfully! Wow, this feels like a great achievement. And I feel somewhat dumb ’cause it’s not as hard as it looks.

The EVENTS track is also missing music_end. You need to touch as little as possible if you’re not sure what you’re doing. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

You can’t mess with the audio file or DTA file outside of Magma or you end up with problems. It looks like you don’t have a backing track, which is required by the game. If you only have the backing audio, you don’t need to pretend there are multiple drum stems, so just use kit instead of what you’re using now. And audio has to be in backing, not in vocals.

I’ve added the audio to the backing track, and for the rest of the instruments I left the “audio/stereo44.wav” file.

All of the above is assuming the alternate version has the same tempo map. If it doesn’t, you need to fix that too.

I see. I was able to take a Pokemon theme custom and change the audio and vocals, if it works I’ll probably post it giving credit to the original author

 

And to reply to mb1nightmare, I am willing to start charting some songs (mostly argentinian rock such as Soda Stereo or Attaque 77), but I find it really difficult yet. I wanna try this “edits” first so maybe I can get used to this, and only then start charting my own songs
