Being a huge Megadeth fan, its nice to see a good amount of their songs on here but I was quite surprised to not see many were done from the So Far, So Good, So What album. I know that commercially, Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction are their biggest successes but I feel SFSGSW is the best album from front to back. There is not one bad song on it. 502, In My Darkest Hour, Liar, Hook In Mouth………that was a great side (for those of us old enough to have suffered through the cassette tape era LOL). Anyway, just sharing my thoughts. There’s so many other great songs on here that I think its awesome that so many people contribute classic stuff on here and I’m definitely appreciative of that. I’m seeing Megadeth in concert this week……I guess the bug is hitting me right now to see some of my favorites be considered for release

I love their Poetic Justice album. Ever think of doing True Believer or See You Someday for rock band? Anyway, good stuff man. Thanks for your continuous efforts ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I apologize for a week that most people might consider “skip-able”, but I really wanted to release some hidden gems that I felt were insanely underappreciated, and what better way to do it than a milestone like 300? Even if you’ve never heard of any of the songs, I think they’re all worth checking out. In particular, NWBJ is one of the catchiest songs I’ve ever heard, and definitely in my top 100, or 50 songs of all time. I’m also thankful that my friend Max was able to help out and provide the lyrical transliteration for it.
Either way, the Aeternitas song was one of my favorite songs released for a project I also contributed to on FoF, the Phase Shift Guitar Project 2, and I felt it would be great as a full band song, even though the drums are a bit relentless. The guitar and keys parts were originally done by GhostByob, and we tweaked them when we thought it was appropriate. Vocals were done by us, and only the main vocal part is pitched, which is appropriate for the way the backing vocals are sung.
Dirge for the Planet is from the soundtracks of both STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl, and STALKER Clear Sky, along with two other Firelake songs. DftP is the least involved of the songs they did, but either way, it’s a really pretty song to listen, and I wouldn’t have done it otherwise if this wasn’t a special week.
We really hope you guys enjoy these, and we’re going back to normal next week, so if you didn’t like this week, hopefully better luck next week!

The only thing I would critique is that there was no overdrive throughout the song but other than that, it was a great song to play. Next I’ll try singing to see if I can do Tony Harnell justice ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I was actually in talks a few years back with Tony to take vocal lessons but my schedule couldn’t accommodate his so it never happened unfortunately ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” /> Anyway dude, thanks for another great Rock Band song

Going straight for Seven Seas ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Can’t wait to play the Ramones tune. Unfortunately I reached the song limit and now I have to decide which songs to outsource. Very hard decision to make!
There’s a song limit in Rock Band? What is it?
October 31, 2015 at 12:47 pm in reply to: Mad Customs (10/28/19: King Diamond – Sleepless Nights, Updated Volbeat – Still Counting) #458531My bad, it is actually the first world release of TNT which would be Knights Of The New Thunder. So it really their second album. Sorry. I am working on a song from that album. It should be good.
myfix – Thanks and you are welcome.
OK, let me take a stab at the second TNT album. Seven Seas was their biggest hit from that album so I’m going to guess that one. Break The Ice and Last Summer’s Evil are also great songs……even the title track is decent.
October 30, 2015 at 12:14 pm in reply to: Mad Customs (10/28/19: King Diamond – Sleepless Nights, Updated Volbeat – Still Counting) #458460I am actually planning to do an older Scorpions song, something from Uli Jon Roth days. I have started a TNT song from the first album. I am working right now on finishing the Gary Moore song, which will be out soon.
I’m going to take a stab at which TNT song you are working on from the first album……its either Eddie or Harley Davidson? I could sit here for quite awhile listing all the good songs TNT has (pretty much anything from Intuition or Tell No Tales) but as far as songs definitely needing some Rock Band love are As Far As The Eye Can See, Everyone’s A Star, Lionheart, Lonely Nights, You’ll Be There, etc. Actually, there are already versions of Intuition and Tonight I’m Falling but they are not full band……..that might be something nice for you to pick up where the previous author left off I don’t know where I got them because I don’t see them listed on either database here so I could e-mail them to you if you want. Thanks for your efforts
April 9, 2015 at 5:21 pm in reply to: Mad Customs (10/28/19: King Diamond – Sleepless Nights, Updated Volbeat – Still Counting) #442354OK, I had a little time to do the TNT drums and what I found was the song starts off out of snyc a little bit (roughly a half a beat per measure late), gets close to being in sync around the first chorus and then becomes very out of sync by the end of the song to the point where I was hitting each note roughly 1-2 beats per measure late. Something else I did notice also was there was no overdrive (I had a hard time trying to get my overdrive bar filled on the higher levels but I managed it on easy and medium). Anyway, that’s my assessment….hope this helps you. If you have any questions about it, feel free to PM me. Thanks and good luck
April 9, 2015 at 12:43 pm in reply to: Mad Customs (10/28/19: King Diamond – Sleepless Nights, Updated Volbeat – Still Counting) #442338TNT’s drums are a bit late. I’m going to assume its the whole song but since I failed at the very beginning on expert, I’m not entirely sure. I will play it later in “no fail mode” and see if anything gets better further on in the song…..I may also try the other levels to see if anything changes there as well. I’ll post my findings later. Thanks
I’m sorry. A bit out of sync, too soon, too late, both? Whole song? Same with the TNT song on the drums. Please help me out here. I need to understand so I can narrow down the issue. I know the vocals on all the songs seem to be good. Thanks,
April 8, 2015 at 8:16 pm in reply to: Mad Customs (10/28/19: King Diamond – Sleepless Nights, Updated Volbeat – Still Counting) #442314is it just me, or is hearts on fire guitar track a bit out of sync? (I haven’t trid the other tracks yet)Besides that it looks good!
I tried the vocals and drums on 10,000 Lovers. The vocals were good but the drums were a bit out of sync. Sometimes I can fake it a little by hitting the notes just a smidge early or late but I couldn’t get away with it this time. I enjoyed singing it anyway
April 6, 2015 at 11:47 pm in reply to: Mad Customs (10/28/19: King Diamond – Sleepless Nights, Updated Volbeat – Still Counting) #442177You sir are awesome. I have been wanting TNT songs pretty bad. This is one of their best too. I love singing it and I look forward to playing the drums as well. Thanks man
RB4 coming out after all these years is a great thing. I don’t own an XboxOne yet and probably won’t get PS4 for a VERY long time because I prefer Microsoft hardware. My jumping into RB4 quicker than expected will probably hinge on what the song list will be released on the disc and future plans for DLC and whether any of the current 360 instrument hardware will be compatible with it. Buying a new system is expensive enough but buying new instruments on top of that is not going to happen anytime soon. Until then, I’m happy playing the 100s of customs that C3 has provided for Xbox 360
The version of Rock You Like A Hurricane that I have has some charting errors and doesn’t have any lyrics even though it has vocal selection. Basically the song starts and the word “lyric” appears right at the beginning and there’s nothing else through the whole song…..not sure if I got a corrupt rb3con file or not As much as I love playing it, I’d love to be able to sing it as well.
Faithfully is such a great song on all levels. That would definitely be a huge addition to Rock Band. I’d also love to see
Stone In Love
Be Good To Yourself
Send Her My Love
Ask The Lonely
Wheels In The Sky
Higher Place
To Be Alive Again
Never Walk Away
After All These Years
Change For The Better
I Got A Reason
With Your Love
Only The Young
I could probably go on forever listing all the great Journey songs but those are some of my favorites ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
September 27, 2014 at 1:35 pm in reply to: Fun Songs that i think should be made (UPDATED! 28/9/14) #430022+1,000,000 for anything off the Transformers The Movie soundtrack. Stan Bush’s The Touch remake was a nice surprise to Rock Band fans but having some of Vince DiCola’s songs or Lion, Spectre General, NRG, etc. would all be great additions to an already great catalog of Rock Band songs.
