That said I do feel the need for a bit more branching out. Off the top of my head here are 5 female fronted artists that could use more representation:
The Pretenders
Heart
Halestorm
The Sounds
The Donnas
That’s just my feeling on the matter.
Heart has so many songs that would be awesome on Rock Band (Kick It Out, If Looks Could Kill, and White Lightning and Wine all come to mind immediately, but there are so many more), along with Halestorm (their cover albums are amazing). I’m also waiting for the day when “Back on the Chain Gang” by The Pretenders, one of my favorite songs ever, gets its rightful place in RB
Oh, please, someone do G/B on God is Dead

Fire has no guitar in it to chart
Really? I knew it would’ve been minimal, but I thought there was a little guitar in it

“Lola Montez” – Volbeat
Oh, god, yes. The entire “Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies” album would be amazing for RB
+1 for Split Enz and also tossing in “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman and “Fallen Angel” by Poison
I totally second “Fire” by Arthur Brown, plus some other songs–
Aerosmith – Walkin’ the Dog
Beatles – Ballad of John and Yoko
Curtis Mayfield – Move On Up
Eagles – Those Shoes
Elton John – All the Young Girls Love Alice
Elton John – Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
Led Zeppelin – Trampled Under Foot
Rush – A Passage to Bangkok
Steely Dan – Don’t Take Me Alive/Your Gold Teeth
Steve Miller Band – Your Cash Ain’t Nothin’ but Trash
Talking Heads – Life During Wartime
