Don’t worry, I’ll still be releasing other things besides Feeder

Some Sigur Rós would definitely work better than others – I’d be tempted to try a bit sometime too but it’s a bit daunting…!

I get what you’re saying, it’s just sad not having anything by them. But whatever you do, don’t go for Goobligook (probably the only Sigur Ros track I don’t really like haha).

Also, I just noticed, M83 is nowhere to be found!? What is going on here. Lower Your Eyelids To Die With The Sun! A bit too synth heavy maybe? I guess I just really wanna drum that haha.

Hey, didn’t realize you are back Ruck! Nice surprise. Not a big Feeder fan though. Seeing your avatar still makes we want to finally get some Sigur Ros in Rock Band. I charted Untitled 8 once myself, but I’m not 100% happy with it, so I never released it. Maybe something like Salka or Hjomalind work better.

As far as I remember, “Someday” was posted by someone here in the custom forums, I’m pretty sure I have downloaded it.

Vocals are kicking my butt right now. The quality wasn’t what I was happy with. I’ll see about making an unpitched version and releasing that. If you really want to play it, here’s the link to the AS IS con file if you are interested: http://www.mediafire.com/download/pg7c5cz8c80ib0y/EditorsSmokersOutside

Hey, thanks man, going to try it out anway.

BTW, did you had a Wilco song as well? Also not satisfied? ^^ Because that would at least interested me. Especially if it was Impossible Germany.

Whow, readin through the comments I read something about Editors? Smokers is probably my favorite song by them. But it’s not in the OP anymore? What happened? Is it still available?

Mostly the charting was done very well and I enjoy those songs a lot, some guitar charts feel a bit of though, but most of the time it’s not really a big deal (mostly they are done well) but what really throw me off was the guitar chart of the Chorus in “Lucky”. The chart changes notes at totally different times than the actual guitar does, which is very strange.

For drums, I have to say that in “Climbing Up The Walls” way more bassdrum hits have been charted than what are actually in the song. I can tell because you can hear the few bassdrum hits that are there pretty clearly in this song IMO.

I looked at Lucky again and I don’t see any issues of the sort you’re describing. There’s a Y note with a hammer-on B as a bend, and then a series of descending notes. The overall “riff” plays as B-Y-R-Y-R-G, wrapped to fit the descending notes into the 5 buttons as well as leaving space for the higher note later in the chorus as O.

As for Climbing Up the Walls, the few bass hits you hear clearly have a loud, reverby effect on them. The rest are more audible when you bring the bass frequencies up and raise the pitch by an octave in Reaper. Other than the “amplified” kicks, it’s pretty buried in the mix but they’re there.

The problem I have with Lucky is, that the note changes happen in the chart at different times than they do in the actual song. It seems out of sync to me. I’m at work now, so I cannot check Youtube videos, to, maybe find guitar covers of it, where I can show you what I mean.

Maybe you are right about Climbing Up The Walls, it’s just that I can clearly hear the bassdrum at certain times and at many other times where they are charted I don’t hear them in the song at all. Maybe they are that quiet, I have not played with the pitches, all I’m saying is that I can clearly hear some of the bassdrum hits and clearly not hear others.

But like I said, awesome work anyway. I try to get back to you in regards of the guitar charts. Maybe I can somehow make myself clearer.

After having the time to play through all the songs of OK Computer on Expert guitar and expert pro drums I have a few minor flaws I’d like to adress.

Mostly the charting was done very well and I enjoy those songs a lot, some guitar charts feel a bit of though, but most of the time it’s not really a big deal (mostly they are done well) but what really throw me off was the guitar chart of the Chorus in “Lucky”. But like I said, everything else in those charts is pretty perfect, and I still can’t believe we finally we have this album in Rock Band. Thanks again.

OMG OMG OMG. Thank you so freaking much. I have waited for OK Computer since 2007. I am actually the one who started that infamous thread in the official forums. Holy shit. I can’t believe that. It finally happened. Thank you guys! :excited:

I think I’m gonna cry. :shobon:

EDIT: I have to say you outdid yourself with those animations this time. Especially in Exit Music and Fitter Happier. Those effects. Amazing!

OMG, Red Eyes and Caravan. Two of my most wanted songs for RB! You are awesome dude, thanks!

Another release of great songs. Especially Untitled, that was also one of the songs I considered charting once. Awesome. Thanks.

Even with your edits, I still think you just can’t hear the in between notes because he is playing them really quiet.

But, it’s your work, and I could be wrong, so it’s totally fine if you don’t want to change it.

Though, would you mind sending me the files so I could just change it for my own personal use? (I know I could just chart the whole thing for myself, but that’s too much work right now ) If not, that’s also ok, just wanted to ask, because I would definitely prefer to play it differently.

BTW, I’m pretty sure you charted the drums on Nuclear halftime, but in reality it has more highhat hits. (twice as much more or less)

It sounded it pretty clear in the instrumental. You sure that’s not the tambourines you’re hearing since those are playing twice as much?

It’s difficult to hear but I’m a drummer and I’m pretty sure it has more highhat hits, because it feels very unnatural to play it the way you charted it. I think you just think you hear it halftime because the drummer is emphasizing the first and third hit on the high hat.

Also, I found a cover on Youtube where the drummer plays it with more highhat hits as well. Sure, it’s only a cover, so it could be wrong, but as a drummer I’m pretty sure that’s the way it is played, since, like I said, it feels very strange and unnatural to play it half time, for this kind of song.

Would love to get a second version of it with the high hat charted with more hits, but only if you’re up to it.

(or, if you like, you can send me the files and I update the charts)

Dude, if I could choose between all the official DLC ever released in one pack or all the songs in this thread, I’d probably choose your thread. Thank you.

And I hope you can continue doing customs in the future, even if it’s not as frequent as it is right now.

More of The Cure? Dude, you are really killing it with your artist/song choices. Awesome! Thanks.
