BTW, I’m a pretty decent audio producer, I’d be willing to toy around with that stuff and some DTS mixes myself in the limited free time I have and see if anything fruitful comes of it. Any songs out there high on the priority on DTS, but not already stemmed?

This is some really cool stuff. I would think in combination with some DTS 5.1 mixes you could get some really decent results. If I was a huge G’N’R fan, I’d be grabbing their DTS mixes right now and trying this method on it. Sorry I’m not a huge enough fan, but I was just looking into grabbing some DTS 5.1 mixes today and I might just play with this digital audio software separation tool.

 

Just think of the possibilities!

By the way, I had heard of the harmonies project a while ago and decided to Google it 2 days ago to see if us PS3 users had any hope with that stuff yet. Then I hit the front page of this site to see all the rest of Queensryche Empire available with full stems and everything. You are my hero dude. I listened to that album a ton back in high school. How you pulled that off I have no idea, but I’m in awe. I listened to the stems for phase shift last night. That gave me chills. Thanks so much!
