Yeah, i started a new song but am currently distracted by RockSmith 2014

I always chart the full song, so if it has solos or whatever played above the 17th fret I make sure it is as accurate as possible. (get the Squeir and plug into an amp as you play!)

That I am not sure about. I have no problem with them being included, I just don’t know the process.

All my upgrades have guitar and real bass parts. The ones here are the same ones as in the tracker document, just copied the links here for convenience.

If you look at that column for each track if it says “B” it has a real bass track if it has “Gx2” that means the guitar part is copied to the bass track.

Its the column right beside “Source”, labeled “Bass (or Gx2)?”. Granted some of the songs have this column blank

Looks like i’ve got more research to do!

I understood most of what you posted except:

 

2) After that get a program it to produce a .mid and the sound file.

 

Doesn’t the EOF software produce the .mid? (the ziggy counterpart does anyway). And what is the “sound file” you speak of? Is that mp3 of the song itself? Is it the mogg? (which is encrypted and can’t be played outside of the game from what i can tell).

 

Also I haven’t used guitar pro 5. From clicking around on ultimateguitar.com it appears to be a subscription service. If that is the case how do you get the .gp5 files themselves for import? (sorry for noobyness here)

I’m starting to get into the pro upgrade game using Ziggy’s software from guitargamestuff.com. I’d love to know how Jerry is importing tabs! please let me know. He also hosts a pack of nearly 200 pro upgrades over there that i wish more people knew about…

Trying to get my ducks in a row with so much software. I’m trying to use ZiggysProEditor and i’m confused by all of this software. Don’t RB3maker and Le Fluffie accomplish the same thing or am i confused (yes i am definitely confused, but excited to get going)
