Oh, space isn’t really a big issue. I’m sure that my gaming collection on the 360 is going to slowly wind down to free up space on this ol’ 60GB drive. (I should have bought a new one at some point but I’m cheap!)

It’s more a matter of having a problem I want to solve and not getting a solution that fits all that well. I’m going to keep poking around, and though I doubt there’s anything in Le Fluffie that’s causing problems since everything else works fine, I’ll definitely let you know if I do find something.

    Thanks again. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Found a workaround for now, but it’s not helping save HDD space. Basically, editing the songs.dta in the pack and not altering ANY of the other content allows me to “skip” songs in the packs. Oh well…it works.

Yeah that indicates that it’s got the right game ID for RB1.

Just to be sure, you ARE deleting your song cache in between tries, right? You will lose some scores but it’s the only way to make sure this works.

Yes, song cache is getting nuked every time I try to add a new file. So…cache doesn’t exist, is created on USB stick, RB3 rescans, finds and imports 1/1 file, then…nothing new shows up, just the 83 RB3 songs.

Are you using the latest copy of Le Fluffie for RB3?

It sounds in theory like you’re doing it right, but obviously something is wrong. When you open the package in Le Fluffie, does it show as Rock Band 1?

Another alternative is to just put them in the RB3 folder. It doesn’t matter what game the DLC/custom is for, RB3 will pick it up.

I’m using 2.1.1 to package the files, but I also tried XLAST. Seems they make the same basic package, but again, no luck either way.

When opening the file in Le Fluffie, I see this:

This is what I saw with all the RB3-era files I tried, though with different info in proper spots, of course.

I’ll try copying the file into the 45410914/00000001 folder. Might get lucky…

Thanks for the help and quick reply. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
