MemberIf closing and restarting doesn’t work, try running each file through REAPER and rendering them as 44,100Hz, and 16 bit

MemberWhat’s in your EVENTS track at measure 11?
Nothing specifically is in my EVENTS track at that measure, I’ve tried re exporting from REAPER but that gives me more errors

MemberYou’re welcome! But, no, unless you duplicate the track and erase the notes you don’t want to see, I don’t think there is. This is not standard procedure, mind you.

Well, I’ve got a long weekend ahead of me so maybe I can start chipping away at it. Thanks again for the help, I feel like I understand the process so much better now.

MemberThat’s correct.
Thank you. With that out of the way, is there any way to sort the notes in REAPER so that I just see the expert notes? The song I’m working on has a ton of notes as well as E/M/H so a way to just view the expert chart would really help.

MemberThe off note is to force strum notes as far as I know, so it isn’t needed unless you want to force strum notes.
As for the actual note, I don’t recall what it is but it was above the expert notes so it is defenetly not in the “1” octave. It should be named if you used the RBN stuff.
Would it be F6 and F#6 then, since the Expert gems are the 6th octave?

MemberSo I’ve read the doc, and I think I understand. I need to put the force note before the notes that I want to be forced and then place the off note after the section. What I’m not clear on is whether F1 is the note used to force HOPOs and F#1 is the note used to end the section, or vice versa. For reference, I’m not using CAT, CARV, or any of the other plugins because I’ve tried multiple versions of REAPER and followed the guides, but can never get the plugins working properly.

MemberI’d say that the threshold is the last thing you wanna mess with. Simply drawing a note (as long as you want the hopo to be) where it says “Force HOPO” in the MIDI editor is enough for most cases. Only works on Expert or Hard difficulties, though.
So then how would I go about forcing HOPOs? Would I have to do it for each note i want to be HOPOd?

MemberRock Band doesn’t use ini files. The only thing that I know of that uses ini files is Phase Shift, and Magma doesn’t support Phase Shift.
Then it’s weird that Magma has the option for importing ini files if it doesn’t support them

MemberMake sure you’re running REAPER 32 bit.
The RBN plugins only work on 32 bit.
That fixed it for me, thanks. Now I just need to figure out all the other errors.

MemberIf you installed those plugins, you may need to configure REAPER to find them from where you installed them.

Ok, I managed to fix it for the Limiter, but I’m still getting the error for the RBN Preview. I have it installed and have a plug-in path for Program Files/Reaper/Plugins/FX but it’s still not showing up

MemberCould it be that you’re using Title update 4 instead of 5?
Don’t worry that was the first thing I checked. I downloaded TU5 and loaded both the app and game but neither worked.
