I can’t stress enough how much better the title screen of the game looks at v2 compared to v1 with band members moving around. Also the setlist sorting is back to RB3 standards and I can actually see the total amount of songs I have in my setlist. I don’t have the actual Rivals mode yet due to Amazon delay but from what I’m hearing its great.

I’ve been playing hte hell out of it. Aside from a few stat tracking bug it is incredibly fun and addictive especially if you love competitive stuff like chasing gold stars or FC’s. Rivals mode is great.

Great news. Progress has been going well for the last few weeks. I’m hoping delisted songs will start coming back next month for people who originally bought them on last gen.

yeah some people are also reporting on ps4 getting access to classic rock track pack 01 and going country 01 pack but a lot of people are saying it still doesn’t work for them.

New update today

 

– Fall update will cost money and online play will be given to those who pay for it and people who pay for the fall update will get free updates into 2017.

– Midi drum support confirmed for xbox one if you have a midi pro adapter

– Score duel not returning

– Big focus of online play is dealing with people who have mismatched DLC libraries.

— Cross platform play is doable but would require a lot of work.

I thought I read somewhere that the new modes are inspired from games such as World of Warcraft and Destiny.

sounds like fall update and multiplayer may not be free according to the new blog post harmonix put up.

This is an awesome series of announcements. I’m curious as to what the Fall Update™ will include since it’s apparently not online, Ion drum support, or practice mode.

yeah i am guessing it’s some new modes similar to brutal mode in the sense of changing the way you play rock band 4.

+1 On the GnR requests. Especially Estranged. I requested it a long while ago on the old site. Got some other tracks I requested, though, such as ’14 Years’ and ‘Double Talkin’ Jive’.

+1 on the Paul Simon, Lionel Richie and Survivor songs as well.

Oh God yes, we need estranged full band so badly! Would also love a live version of patience from paris 1992 with slashs epic guitar solo

i was wondering this very thing. Rock Band 4 was a huge disappointment. Hopefully a year from now it will be a much better game but the updates and DLC are too little too late. Glad i kept my xbox 360, some fantastic customs out there.
